Namen, bei denen die Vereinten Nationen glauben, dass es sich um Sortennamen handelt, sind in der ersten Spalte aufgeführt. Weitere Namen, bei denen die Vereinten Nationen glauben, dass diese Sorten unter diesem Namen bekannt sein könnten, sind in der zweiten Spalte aufgeführt. Keine der beiden Listen sollte Namen von Handelsmarken in den ersten beiden Spalten enthalten. Hinweise auf bekannte Handelsmarken sind in der dritten Spalte aufgeführt und dienen nur der Information.
