Aidy joined West Yorkshire Police in 1994 and worked at Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees Districts prior to a move to Head Quarters. He returned to Calderdale briefly before he was promoted to Chief Inspector and moved back to HQ where he was Recruitment and Inclusion lead until he was selected by Chief Constable Dee Collins to be her Staff Officer. Aidy returned to Calderdale in April 2019 taking over from Chief Inspector Gareth Crossley who has moved to HQ to take up a new role at Corporate Services. Priority Update – Road Safety Robber Jailed After Targeting Convenience Store in Halifax 19/05 - PCSO's Sean Scahill and Ross Wardman carried out speed checks on Skircoat Moor Road and Tyler Griffiths, aged 22 of Bower Street, Harrogate Free School Lane, Halifax.
