FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018 ANNUAL REPORT mission Essential Pregnancy Services (EPS) is dedicated to helping expectant women and parenting families make life-affirming choices for themselves and their children through medical services, education, professional counseling, mate- rial assistance and resource information. Every woman who tests positive for pregnancy receives research-based options counseling to educate her on life-affirming choices which include parenting and adoption, as well as education on abortion and the impact it can have on her health and the life of her unborn child. EPS employs highly-qualified, professional individuals, including five Registered Nurses and one Licensed Practi- cal Nurse. All staff and volunteers are required to uphold high ethical standards of care. professional counseling EPS is committed to supporting women and families before and after the birth of a child, offering professional counseling. Two Licensed Mental Health Practitioners and a counselor are on staff to address the daily needs of clients. educational & material resources EPS offers over 200 classes each year focusing on parenting, child birth, personal growth, and life skills education through the Beginning Essentials (BE) program.
