: a number of web sites were under cyber attacks

 In Ukraine between October 11 and 17, 4 cases were registered in the category "Physical aggression,, 6 cases of "Internet pressure," and one case each for "Indirect pressure," "Censorship. Access to information," "Protection of freedom of speech."

Category "Physical aggression" During a rally organized by the party "Gromadskyi ruh Ukrayiny" on Market Square in , Marta Kogut, a journalist from Channel 24, was attacked by demonstrators. Protesters also tried to prevent a cameraman from filming. In Nova , , someone threw a brick at the window of the editorial office of the newspaper "Deloviye Novosti." The brick was wrapped in a page from the same newspaper containing a critique on Anna Gorkun, a candidate from district 184. In , oblast, a group of armed men from the tried to block the TV and radio company "Akcent" from broadcasting, but volunteers under the command of Vitaliy Shvedov, a representative of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Command in Lysychansk, prevented them. In Zaporizhia, the head of a local credit union assaulted Alina Syrevych, a journalist from the TV and radio company "Aleks," and Oleksiy Demchenko, a cameraman from the same channel. Category "Censorship. Access to information" Terrorists are blocking websites in the occupied territory. DPR leadership ( oblast) required all internet providers working in the territory under their control to register as mass media and pay "taxes" to the separatists. Registration is carried out under physical threat. Apparently, a "unified register" of blocked Ukrainian websites is under development. Category "Indirect pressure" In , unknown people jammed the broadcast of the TV programs "Podrobnosti," "Podrobnosti nedeli" and "Chernoe zerkalo" on channel "Inter." Internet pressure The Internet network Sites underwent several cyber-attacks. The websites of 0564.ua, 0629.ua, Zaporizhia 061.ua, Luhansk 0642.ua, 0332.ua, 0362.ua, Lviv 032.ua, 0352.ua were brought down by strong cyber-attacks. Category "Protection of freedom of speech" In , oblast, the private TV and radio company "Vizyt" stopped broadcasting to protest pressure on the station by the authorities. Journalists from the channel demand an independent editorial policy.
