Będzie ona miała miejsce 7 czerwca 2020 roku w Warszawie na Placu Piłsudskiego. Beatyfikacji dokona prefekt Kongregacji Spraw Kanoniza- cyjnych kard. Angelo Becciu. Proces beatyfikacyjny trwał 30 lat, a rozpoczął się osiem lat po śmierci kardynała, 22 maja 1989 roku (ur. 1901, zm. 1981). Dekret o heroiczno- ści cnót Prymasa Tysiąclecia datowany jest na 18 grudnia 2017 roku. Od tego czasu kardynałowi przysługiwał tytuł Czcigodnego Sługi Bożego. W 2018 roku konsylium lekarskie stwierdziło, że uzdrowienie 19-letniej siostry zakonnej z nowotworu tarczycy (w roku 1988) jest niewytłuma- czalne z medycznego punktu widzenia. Cud został następnie potwierdzony przez komisję kardynałów i biskupów i zaopiniowany pozytywnie przez papieża Franciszka w październiku 2019 roku. W dziale Z życia Archidiecezji publikujemy dekret o heroiczności cnót Czcigodnego Sługi Bożego, kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego.
