R.3 Abstract: The article analyzes the state of entomocomplexes in adyr conditions of the Fergana Valley, reflects background species and the state of cenoses based on an analysis of the ratios of insect-phytophages.In the agrocenoses of the studied region, 94 species and 14 subspecies of insect edificators were recorded, 6 of them were invasive.Dangerous invasive and quarantine species have been registered: Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller, 1873) – potato moth, Tuta absoluta (Meyrick, 1917) – tomato moth and Myiopardalis pardalina Bigot, 1891 – melon fly. As a result of the activity of these species, a violation and reformation of the community of local entomocomplexes is observed. They can be well examined and identified by their wing venation and genitalia. In the present study, four species Agrotis ipsilon Hufnagel, Agrotis segetum Denis and Schiffmuller, Xestia c-nigrum Linnaeus and Xestia renalis Moore were collected from different conifer forests of Himachal Pradesh. Ozier9, and Alan Cressler10 Abstract We provide an annotated checklist of species recorded from caves and other subterranean habitats in the state of Georgia, USA. We report 281 species (228 invertebrates and 53 vertebrates), including 51 troglobionts (cave-obligate species), from more than 150 sites (caves, springs, and wells). Endemism is high; of the troglobionts, 17 (33 % of those known from the state) are endemic to Georgia and seven (14 %) are known from a single cave. We identified three biogeographic clusters of troglobionts. Two clusters are located in the northwestern part of the state, west of Lookout Mountain in Lookout Valley and east of Lookout Mountain in the Valley and Ridge. In addition, there is a group of tro- globionts found only in the southwestern corner of the state and associated with the Upper Floridan Aquifer. At least two dozen potentially undescribed species have been collected from caves; clarifying the taxonomic status of these organisms would improve our understanding of cave biodiversity in the state.

Dezember 2011 ISBN 978-3-938249-01-7 Michael FIBIGER 1945 - 2011 Our dear friend and colleague, Michael FIBIGER, died on 16 February, 2011, peacefully and in the presence of the closest members of his family. For close on 18 months he had battled heroically and with characteristic determination against a particularly unpleasant form of cancer, and continued with his writing and research until close to the end. Michael was born on 29 June, 1945, in Hellerup, a suburb of Copenhagen, and began catching moths at the age of nine, particularly in the vicinity of the summer house where they stayed on the north coast of Zealand. By the time he was 11, he wanted to join the Danish Lepidoptera Society but was told he was too young and must wait “a couple of years”. So, exactly two years later he applied again and was accepted – as the youngest-ever Member of the Society. Michael always knew he wanted to be a teacher, and between 1965 and 1970 he attended training college at Hel- lerup Seminarium. Having graduated, he taught Danish, Biology and Special Education at Gentofte School until 1973. In the meantime, he studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Copenhagen from 1970 to 1976, and from 1973 to 1981 he became School Psychologist for elementary schools and high schools in the municipality of Gentofte, work which involved investigation and testing of children with psychiatric problems, counselling, supervi- sion and therapy. He was also an instructor in drug prevention for the Ministry of Education.

This research was carried out in order to determine the species composition of Lepidoptera family of the Lower Amudarya State Biosphere Reserve. The Noctuoidea group is a major species included in the Lepidoptera species. The research materials were collected in four refuges (Beruni, Kegeyli, Sultan, Amudarya) from March 2017 to November 2018. A list of species has been compiled in this region for two years. The obtained results show that in the studied area, 1,000 types of moths were collected. It was found out that they belong to the Noctuoidea family. DRL lamp handles were used for catching the moths. Red wine and sugar solutions were also used to attract moth butterflies.
