Résumé : Les études de phylogénie moléculaire sur les Lépidoptères Rhopalocères et Zygènes sont de plus en plus nombreuses ces dernières années modifiant la systématique et la taxinomie de ces deux groupes. Une mise à jour complète est réalisée dans ce travail. Un cadre décisionnel a été élaboré pour les niveaux spécifiques et infra-spécifique avec une approche intégrative de la taxinomie. Ce cadre intégre notamment un aspect biogéographique en tenant compte des zones-refuges potentielles pour les espèces au cours du dernier maximum glaciaire. Cette démarche permet d’avoir une approche homogène pour le classement des taxa aux niveaux spécifiques et infra-spécifiques. Les conséquences pour l’acquisition des données dans le cadre d’un inventaire national sont développées. Summary : Studies on molecular phylogenies of Butterflies and Burnets have been increasingly frequent in the recent years, changing the systematics and taxonomy of these two groups. A full update has been performed in this work. -

Below: eating outside on the last evening (CG) and the green pastures of the upper Hecho valley (HC). This holiday, as for every Honeyguide holiday, also puts something into conservation in our host country by way of a contribution to the wildlife that we enjoyed, in this case for La Sociedad Española de Ornitología (SEO), the Spanish Ornithological Society, and its work in Aragón. The conservation contribution this year of £40 per person was supplemented by gift aid through the Honeyguide Wildlife Charitable Trust, leading to a total of £440 This donation brings the total given to SEO since the first Honeyguide holiday in Spain in 1991 to £16,745 (through all Honeyguide holidays, mostly the Spanish Pyrenees and Extremadura). As at July 2016, the total for all conservation contributions through Honeyguide since 1991 was £108,716. 2 DAILY DIARY Wednesday 15 June: The way there… What should have been a simple journey, Stansted to Biarritz then minibus to Berdún, had by 8pm turned out rather differently. After a series of delays due to thundery weather our flight eventually got onto French tarmac an hour late, where we were held on the plane because of the heavy rain, although any benefit from that was soon negated when we had to wait outside, in the continuing deluge, while another plane took off. -

Vol. XXII, No. 3, December, 1977 495 A Review of the Hawaiian Species of Idolothripinae (Phlaeothripidae: Thysanoptera) K. Sakimura and F. A. Bianchi BISHOP MUSEUM, HONOLULU, HAWAII Published knowledge of the Hawaiian tubuliferous thrips fauna is meager. This is largely due to the limited extent to which our findings have been reported in the past. Those accumulated findings are being jointly reported in this paper and in others to follow. The primary objective of these papers is to assemble all the information on these thrips together in a ready reference available for local use. All the Hawaiian literatures will be completely cited. Recent innovations in the systematics of the suborder Tubulifera, specifically the two major contributions by Mound (1974a, b) on the Pacific Idolothripinae, provided impetus to the study of the Hawaiian species. The last review of the Hawaiian Thysanoptera (Zimmerman 1948) is in need of extensive clarifications and additions. It listed only six idolothripine species. In the present review, one synonymy and two nomenclatural changes are reported, and four more species, including one new to science, are added. A new idolothripine species described subsequent to the last review was found to have been misplaced in this subfamily. Among nine species listed here, only three are considered endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. Materials accumulated in the Sakimura Collection and the Bishop Museum Collection are all pooled in this work. The Bianchi Collection, which included the HSPA Collection and the Hawaiian Entomological Society Collection, is now deposited in the Bernice P. Biship Museum. In our listings of "Material Studied" and "Earlier Collection Recorded", specimens from the Sakimura Collection are all specified by his accession numbers, and those from the Bishop Museum Collection are marked with an asterisk. -

A total of 113 species, including newly described and newly recorded species are recognized. Three new species, Apolygus hwasoonanus Oh, Yasunaga & Lee, sp. n., A. seonheulensis Oh, Yasunaga & Lee, sp. n. and Stenotus penniseticola Oh, Yasunaga & Lee, sp. n., are described. Eight species, Apolygus adustus (Jakovlev, 1876), Charagochilus (Charagochilus) longicornis Reuter, 1885, C. (C.) pallidicollis Zheng, 1990, Pinalitopsis rhodopotnia Yasunaga, Schwartz & Chérot, 2002, Philostephanus tibialis (Lu & Zheng, 1998), Rhabdomiris striatellus (Fabricius, 1794), Yamatolygus insulanus Yasunaga, 1992 and Y. pilosus Yasunaga, 1992 are re- ported for the fi rst time from the Korean peninsula. -

Dominant Soil Types The Cernavoda NPP site was prepared for 5 reactors and for the necessary installations and activities for their construction and operation during a long period. This site is in a former lime quarry area (called Ilie Barza), on the left side of Danube- Black Sea Canal. The site preparation works resulted in an almost flat area with an upper layer consisting of limestone. After specific engineering works, most of the prepared land area was used for various constructions and inner roads (Ref. 4.3-1). Some green areas have also been arranged. The land surface for the Cernavoda NPP Unit 3 is now a built area. At a larger scale, taking into consideration the zones defined around the NPP (section 4.2.7.4), the Cernavoda site area belongs to the plateau between the Danube branch Dunarea Veche and the Black Sea, known as South Dobrogea Platform. The Cernavoda NPP site is not far from the Danube, but it is not near its floodplain. On the right bank of the Danube, in the floodplain, there are alluvial soils. They are undeveloped soils, non-homogenous, having sand to clay structure. Towards east, there are gray soils (Ref. 4.3-1, 4.3-2), characteristic for dry climate areas. Due to the low humidity, alteration and levigation are less intense. These gray soils are poor in humus (2-3%) and nutritive substances. Although the gray soils present good physical characteristics, they do not accumulate water enough because of the low rain quantities and their distribution during the whole year, so that a humidity deficiency in soil is found during most part of the year. -

In systematic review a total of eighty four species in twenty eight genera of Phylines are recognized from the Korean Peninsula. During this study, twenty new reports including six new species were investigated; and purposed a synonym and revised recombination. Keys to genera and species, diagnosis, descriptions including male and female genitalia, illustrations and short biological notes are provided for each of the species. -

ZooKeys 345: 1–28. doi: 10.3897/zookeys.345.6167 Abstract An illustrated key is provided to the 19 genera of the subfamily Idolothripinae from China, and a checklist given to 62 named species, of which six species are newly recorded from China, together with the genus Bolothrips that is represented by two un-named species. A generic diagnosis is given for each genus, along with some discussion of systematic relationship problems and species diversity. Identification keys to species of 11 genera are provided, and Megathrips antennatus Guo, Feng & Duan is considered as a new synonym of Megathrips lativentris (Heeger).
