Curriculum Framework This curriculum guide should be viewed as a beginning guide only. It is not a hard and fast program but is a work in constant process and is subject to revision during the school year at the discretion of the faculty and with the approval of the headmaster. Particular themes, events, or pedagogical needs or opportunities present in a particular class are among the reasons a change might be made. There may be some adaptations in the books used. While much of the literature is period-based, some non-period-based literature will also be explored in a typical year. The curriculum of Donahue Catholic draws on the philosophy and design animating the Core Curriculum at Ave Maria University.
