Audition Material - Songs Below you will find material for your audition: lyrics to the song choices and pieces of dialogue from the script. To prepare for your audition, study the material below. Choose a song you are comfortable with and familiarize yourself with the dialogue.

Yes, you may use the script, but do not depend on it! And remember, auditions do not have to be a nerve- wracking experience. Keep in mind that you and your directors are at the auditions for the same reason: to put on a fun show!

AUDITION TIPS 1. Be prepared! Study the songs & be comfortable singing with expression and energy! 2. Be confident: speak clearly, sing with confidence and support, and do your best! 3. Warm up beforehand (your voice and your body!) 4. Your audition starts when you walk into the room, not just when you sing. 5. Get a good night’s sleep the night before and a healthy breakfast to start your day. 6. Most importantly: HAVE FUN!
