BUJINKAN BUDO TAIJUTSU SEMINAR Tai Kai Preparation and Juppo Sessho No Jutsu by 13TH Degree Black Belt Instructor TIM BATHURST Please come and get an update on what Soke has been teaching this year. Tim Bathurst trains with Hatsumi Sensei three times each week and has been doing so for the last six years. During classes, Tim helps translate Soke’s statements into English. Tim has had many private conversations with Soke and has done much research into Bujinkan History. Tim Bathurst also trains frequently with Nagato Shihan, teaches two classes each week in Tokyo and makes high quality training weapons. Special emphasis will be placed on the scroll techinques for the Kunai (short digging tool) and the Kodachi (short sword slung on hip, popular before the warring states period). Other safe training weapons used will be: Kyoketsu Shoge (Ring, Rope, & Knife / Sickle), Hanbo, Bo, Tanto and Soft Rope – 12’ to 18’ long TRAINING SCHEDULE: Friday – Introductory Session – July 25, 2003 – 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM At Charles Collins’ Dojo, 6964 Westcott Place, Clarksville, MD 21029 Several local Shihans and Shihan Tim Bathurst will teach.
