The Differential Diagnosis of Fixed Dilated Pupils: A Case Report and Review

ABSTRACT This case report describes a patient with Guillain-Barré syndrome in whom the presence of and absent brain stem suggested the possibility of death. A differential diagnosis of fixed dilated pupils is presented. (Critical Care and Resuscitation 2000; 2: 34-37)
