Tuxedo Park

Green Line

 Heated/covered train stations – cold!  – lots of trees, planters, plazas, corner developments  Commercial district – energy for new development  I love the train about ground in Tuxedo Park, and having underground portion as far south as possible. Want the vibrancy the above ground train will bring.  Well managed Green Line project (keep doing what you are doing)  SOCAN ↓  Tuxedo Park Green Line Development – we only have this one park. Yes, love what I am seeing in these photos. Let’s make it great. Restaurants, shops, walkable spaces, places in the park to hang out. Ice cream shop. Pedestrian

 More speed limit signs on Trail  Streets for people. Pedestrian improvements. Street redesign and traffic calming. Shared streets, lower speed limits  The re-paving of Edmonton Trail was a missed opportunity. Must do better complete streets!  Edmonton Trail walkability. Sidewalks on 5th and 16th Ave  A bicycle route with markings would be great on 1st St NE  Central Parks with corridors i.e. East Village  Pedestrian and cyclist focussed corridors leading to transit  Better pedestrian access to Centre Street  Walkability  Pedestrian sign revamping (yellow wrappers)  More speed patrol on Centre and Edmonton Trail  Rapid Flashing Pedestrian Beacons for centre street

Winston Heights-Mountview

Housing & Rezoning

 Will higher density development be centres along Edmonton Trail to preserve the neighbourhood?  Stop building large multi-level houses in neighbourhoods with large single populations – need small bungalows  Multi-family buildings need open house welcome days for community members to welcome newcomers to community  Building multi-residential with no permission?  Why is public engagement for rezoning R2 to commercial fast-tracked e.g. 2 week public notice  Why is spot-rezoning allowed?  If infrastructure cannot handle high density housing, stop doing it  Is a 3x2 sandwich board on changing property zoning adequate notice  Onus is on neighbourhood to find out info on rezoning  Midfield mobile home park closure and ‘relocation’ options. Community based boarders  Can we use the community ARP to begin as a starting point?  Does WHMV have an ARP?  What is happening to rezoning of property across from Mountview Elementary?  What about tiny homes community? Cool if we were Calgary pioneers in this

DP trigger it; analog vs. digital  Bring back the welcome wagon - include free community memberships on new builds City Issues
