Reports 11.1 Council Reports Councillor Laveck attended the Leduc Regional Housing Foundation BBQ for seniors, participated in the transportation study with the consultant, and Community Awareness Night. Councillor Porter attended the Movie in the Park, the economic development action plan, and the Community awareness Night. Councillor Adams missed Community Awareness Night due to being out of country but wife attended who advised there was good attendance. Councillor Hugh attended the transit group discussion, the RVA meeting on behalf of Councillor Laveck, economic development action plan, a Devon Historical Society meeting and Community Awareness Night. Acknowledgment to the Devon Rocks initiative going on in the community, to see the results all over the community, seeing the engagement and community spirit and its great the Town got behind it, KUDOS for the initiative for greater community spirit. Councillor Koroll attended 2 LDRWMA Meetings, Calmar Parade, Capital Region Municipal Golf Tournament, Economic Development Contractor Meeting, Alberta Recycling Conference (toured EIA terminal building recycling and sorting facility, Leduc Regional Landfill and Leduc #1. A few of the sessions attended; Light Pollution, Automotive plastic recycling in Alberta, “SKY” Facility Cannabis facility located in Leduc County), Community Awareness Night, Transportation Study Meeting. Thank you to the Lions Club for the beef on a bun and the Devon Community Signers at the Community Awareness Night. Councillor May attended the Community Awareness Night, CRASC, Yellowhead Regional Library Strong and Free conference and the Yellowhead Regional Library Executive meeting. Mayor Lindop had a meeting with the Premier’s office economic development, and a Minister Shaye Anderson meeting, met with the Mayor of Medicine Hat, great meeting, productive time and broaden contacts.
