Digital Booklet L Adele Daydreamer Wait do you see my heart on my sleeve? But despite the truth that I know Sitting on the sea It’s been there for days on end I find it hard to let go Soaking up the sun And it’s been waiting for you And give up on you He is a real lover To open up your too baby Seems I love the things you do Of making up the past Come on now Like the meaner you treat me And feeling up his girl I’m trying to tell you just how More eager I am Like he’s never felt her figure before I’d like to hear the words To persist with this heartbreak Roll out of you’re mouth finally Of running around A Jaw dropper Say that it’s always been me And I will do until I find myself with you Looks good when he walks Is the subject of their talk That’s made you feel a way you’ve never felt before And make you feel a way you’ve never felt before He would be hard to chase And I’m all you need and that you’d never want more And be all you need so that you’ll never want more But good to catch Then you’d say all of the right things without a clue Then you’d say all of the right things without a clue And he could change the world But you’d save the best for last like I’m the one for you And you’ll be the one for me and me the one for you With his hands behind his back You should know that you’re just a temporary fix Written by Adele Adkins You can find him This is not rooted with you Produced by Jim Abbiss Sitting on your doorstep It don’t mean that much to me Vocals and Bass - Adele Backing vocals by Jack Peñate and The Life Gospel Choir, London Waiting for the surprise You’re just a filler in the space Recorded by Richard Wilkinson at Rak Studios, May 07 And he will feel like That happened to be free Assisted by Helen Atkinson He’s been there for hours How dare you think you’d get away Recorded by Richard Wilkinson at Konk, June 07 Assisted by Serge Krebs And you can tell that he’ll be there for life With trying to play me Mixed by Richard Wilkinson and Jim Abbiss at Musikbox, Jun 07 Assisted by Ferg Peterkin Daydreamer Why is it everytime I think I’ve Published by Universal Music Publishing Ltd. With eyes that make you melt Tried my hardest it turns out it ain’t enough? He lends his coat for shelter You’re still not mentioning love Plus he’s there for you Well what am I supposed to do? When he shouldn’t be To make you want me properly But he stays all the same I’m taking these chances and getting nowhere Waits for you And though I’m trying my hardest Then see’s you through You go back to her And I think that I know things may never change There’s no way I could describe him But I’m still hoping one day I might hear you say What I’ve said is just what I’m hoping for I make you feel a way you’ve never felt before But I will find him And I’m all you need and that you’d never want more Sitting on my doorstep Then you’d say all of the right things without a clue Waiting for a surprise But you’d save the best for last like I’m the one for you And he will feel like He’s been there for hours You should know that you’re just a temporary fix And I can tell that he’ll be there for life This is not rooted with you And I can tell that he’ll be there for life It don’t mean that much to me You’re just a filler in the space Written by Adele Adkins That happened to be free Produced by Jim Abbiss How dare you think you’d get away Guitar and Vocals - Adele With trying to play me Recorded by Richard Wilkinson at Rak Studios, May 07 Assisted by Helen Atkinson Mixed by Richard Wilkinson and Jim Abbiss at Konk, Jun 07 Assisted by Serge Krebs Published by Universal Music Publishing Ltd. I’ve made up my mind Don’t need to think it over If I’m wrong I am right Don’t need to look no further This ain’t lust I know this is love But if I tell the world I’ll never say enough Cause it was not said to you And that’s exactly what I need to do If I end up with you Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements Even if it leads nowhere Or would it be a waste Even if I knew my place Should I leave it there Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements Even if it leads nowhere I build myself up And fly around in circles Waiting as my heart drops And my back begins to tingle Finally could this be it or Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements Even if it leads nowhere Or would it be a waste Even if I knew my place Should I leave it there Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements Should I just keep chasing pavements Or Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements Even if it leads nowhere Or would it be a waste Even if I knew my place Should I leave it there Should I give up? You say it’s all in my head I found myself today Right under my feet is air made of bricks And the things I think Singing out loud your name That pulls me down and turns me weak for you Just don’t make sense You said I’m crazy I find myself repeating like a broken tune So where you been then? If I am I’m crazy for you And I’m forever excusing your intentions Don’t go all coy Then I give in to my pretendings Don’t turn it round on me Sometimes sitting in the dark Which forgive you each time Like it’s my fault wishing you were here Without me knowing they melt my heart to stone Turns me crazy See I can see that look in your eyes But it’s you who makes me loose my head And I hear your words that I made up The one that shoots me each and everytime You say my name like there could be an us And everytime I’m meant to be I best tidy up my head I’m the only one You grace me with your cold shoulder Acting sensible In love, I’m the only one in love Whenever you look at me and wish I was her You drift into my head You shower me with words made of knives And turn me into a crumbling fool Each and everytime I’ve turned round to leave Whenever you look at me and wish I was her I feel my heart begin to burst and bleed Tell me to run and I’ll race So desperately I try to link it with my head These days when I see you If you want me to stop I’ll freeze But instead I fall back to my knees You make it look like I’m see through And if you want me gone I’ll leave As you tear your way right through me Do tell me why you waste our time Just hold me closer baby I forgive you once again When your heart ain’t in it and your not satisfied Without me knowing you’ve burnt my heart to stone And make me You know I know just how you feel Crazy for you And I hear your words that I made up I’m starting to find myself feeling that way too when Crazy for you You say my name like there could be an us I best tidy up my head I’m the only one You grace me with your cold shoulder Lately with this state I’m in In love, I’m the only one in love Whenever you look at me and wish I was her I can’t help myself but spin You shower me with words made of knives I wish you’d come over Why do you steal my hand? Whenever you look at me and wish I was her Send me spinning closer to you Whenever I’m standing my own ground You build me up then leave me there Time and time again I play the role of fool My oh my how my blood boils Just for you Its sweetest for you Where I hear your words you made up And even in the daylight when your gaming It strips me down bare I say your name like there should be an us I don’t see through And get’s me into my favourite mood I best tidy up my head I’m the only one I try to look for thing I hear In love, I’m the only one in love but my eyes never find I keep on trying I’m fighting These feelings away Vocals and melodies written and performed by Adele Adkins You grace me with your cold shoulder But the more I do Music written, produced and played by Eg White on behalf of Emperor Music Management at Modern Dirt Laboratories, London, April 07 String Arrangements Eg White Whenever you look at me and wish I was her The crazier I turn into Strings recorded by Steve Price and performed by Perry Montague-Mason and London Studio You shower me with words made of knives Orchestra at Angel Studios, June 07 Whenever you look at me and wish I was her Pacing floors and opening doors Mixed by Tom Elmhirst for osOHso.

NO BALLAD, NO CRY dele began writing new material for her follow- up record in April 2009. But not before she agreed to take a fl yer as an actress with a guest shot on the hit tele vi- sion sitcom Ugly Betty. It seemed like a harm- Aless diversion from all the drama and pressure in her life. She reasoned, how hard could it be to play herself? In the episode, Betty is dancing with her husband at their wedding when the couple is suddenly interrupted by Adele. Th ere is some harmless banter and the next thing we know Adele is up on stage singing the song “Right As Rain.” Adele realized that that kind of promotion in America was well worth the eff ort, but would later acknowledge in Vogue that the Ugly Betty experience cured her of any future acting aspirations. “I can’t watch it. I was so uncomfortable. I am the worst actress of all time.” But Adele was thankful for the momentary respite from Marc Shapiro her day job as singer-songwriter on the rise.

  • Tom Elmhirst
Courtesy of TransAudio Group Tom Elmhirst augments ATC monitoring setup at ‘home’ in Electric Lady Studios “The addition of SCM45A Pros perfectly supplement my second rig to bring it in line with my main control room monitoring setup. It’s important that both rigs can speak the same language so I can work and my assistants can work in both places comfortably and confidently.” – Tom Elmhirst, 2016 (mix engineer). NEW YORK, USA: specialist British loudspeaker drive unit and complete sound reproduction system manufacturer ATC is proud to announce that GRAMMY award-winning mix engineer extraordinaire Tom Elmhirst — already an advocate of ATC’s professional loudspeakers — has supplemented his second setup at Studio C within New York City’s legendary Electric Lady Studios with a pair of SCM45A Pro mid-size, high performance, active three-way studio monitors… “Tom Elmhirst is a mix engineer based at Electric Lady Studios in NYC.” So reads the somewhat humble homepage for the talented individual in question. Yet the British- born specialist music producer and mix engineer’s many achievements at the helm of large-scale console — currently a Neve VR-72, about which he is on record as stating, “It’s a luxury… I can do ten things at once, but with a mouse I can only do one…” — speak louder than words. While most of the many millions of listeners who have heard the results of his sterling work with several of the biggest-selling recording artists around today will not know a Neve from an SSL, the man with the Midas mixing touch clearly knows what he is doing and must be doing something right with that mission-critical mixing and ATC monitoring setup aiding his course of action time and again.
