"Robbie" presided over the Tent's organizational meeting on January 19th of that year, and the Tent's first "roast" was staged just four months later on May 26th , 1952 . Over those 35 years from 1952 through 1986 , we have staged a total of 128 roastings , for - since some were double-headers, or more -- a total of 139 Fall Guys and Dolls . At every roasting we have made a generous contribution to the charity that has been selected by the roast's Fall Guy or Fall Doll -- a tribute to the good sports that all these fine people have been. They have all taken our roastings with graciousness and good nature, to help to aid the imposing array of worthy charities that we have benefitted over our 35 years of support to those who have not been so fortunate as we have been . e TG~tiM TBIJT f;IBetim ~•Te~ lllf§llBI {;L~B
