THE CHANGES ARE THE RESULT OF AN :XTENSIVE STUDY AIMED AT INTRODUCING GREATER UNIFORMITY, REDUCING THE NUMBER OF UNIFORMS AND ACCESSORIES CURRENTLY REQUIRED, REDUCING THE COST TO THE INDIVIDUAL, AND PROVIDING ENLISTED MEN WITH A SMART, DURABLE WORKING UNIFORM THAT WILL BE EASY TO MAINTAIN AND ~TOW ABOARD SHIP YET BE CONVENIENT FOR WORKING.
