Central German airports present their summer programmes at ITB in

From 6 to 10 March, Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports will be exhibiting at the world’s largest travel trade show, ITB in Berlin. There will be 50 destinations to choose from at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports in the upcoming summer season. The new flight timetable being presented to Berliners and Brandenburgers at ITB starts on 31 March. On offer will be city break and resort destinations in , the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and on the Red Sea and Dead Sea.

New this summer at Leipzig/Halle will be non-stop flights to Banjul in Gambia, Enfidha in Tunisia and Alanya in Turkey. Holidaymakers travelling from Dresden will have a choice of two more new destinations: Larnaka in Cyprus and Dalaman in Turkey.

In addition, the airlines flying from Leipzig/Halle and Dresden offer excellent connections to their hub airports. With such a wide range of daily connecting flights on offer, there are destinations and dates to suit everyone. Transit times at the hub airports are short. ’s largest airline, , flies from Dresden and Leipzig/Halle to Frankfurt and Munich several times a day and Lufthansa subsidiary SWISS flies to Zurich. , another Lufthansa subsidiary, operates flights from both airports to Düsseldorf, Cologne Bonn, Stuttgart and Palma de Mallorca.

Other airlines flying from Leipzig/Halle include Turkish Airlines to Istanbul, Austrian Airlines to Vienna and Pobeda to Moscow Vnukovo. At Dresden, flies to Moscow Sheremetyevo, EasyJet to Basel and KLM to Amsterdam. Page 1/2

Ultra-low-cost parking With their excellent transport links, the two airports offer a real alternative for holidaymakers. Passengers arriving at Dresden Airport by car can park close to the terminal in car park P3 from as little as €15 per week. This makes Dresden Airport one of the cheapest airports in Germany. Low-cost parking is also available at Leipzig/Halle Airport, with seasonal car parks P15 and P20 and car park P2 opening again on 30 March.
