PACIFIC SURFLINER LEGEND Supporting State: California The Pacific Surfliner connects San Diego and San Luis Obispo, California via Los Angeles, making stops at 31 stations along the route. The Pacific Surfliner also has Amtrak Thruway Bus Connections from Fullerton to Palm Springs and Indio and from Los Angeles to Long Beach and San Pedro. It connects to three Amtrak Long Distance intercity passenger rail routes in Los Angeles- the Coast Starlight to Seattle, the Southwest Chief to Chicago, and the Sunset Limited to New Orleans. Numerous intercity and local bus connections are also available at each terminal location and at selected stations along the route.
