I’d like to take an opportunity to ask everyone to considerN volunteering for the many events we offer throughout the year. It is easy to help out, just contact the chairperson for the event and ask, or step up and be the chairperson. As many have said throughout the year this is a club of people, it’s not just the cars. This year has had many great events thanks to the people that Your preferred collision repair & paint have put the events together and the people who have participated. Just because it is coming close to winter, there are still many events center for Porsches and other fine to keep an eye out for.     Kulturminneplan Nyhavna - Kulturhistorisk stedsanalyse av Dora ubåtanlegg Forord Kulturmiljøet på Nyhavna består av 13 bygninger: 2 ubåtbunkere, en fyringsbunker, 2 spissbunkere og et antall øvrige verksted- og verftsbygninger. Bygningene er gitt verneklasse A, B eller C på Trondheim kommunes aktsomhetskart og har stor krigshistorisk verdi. Anlegget har nasjonal og internasjonal betydning og står som et av flere bindeledd i felles Europeisk krigskulturarv. Nyhavna, Reina og nærliggende områder skal utvikles som ny urban bydel. Med det utløses et behov for kartlegging og plan for bevaring av de kulturhistoriske elementene i landskapet. Kulturminneplanen for Nyhavna skal tjene som et verktøy i plan- og utviklingsarbeidet og inngår i kommuneplanens arealdel. Planen skal sørge for at utvikling skjer i samspill med bevaring av kulturverdiene i området. Med utgangspunkt i detaljert analyse og samlet verdigrunnlag blir tålegrenser, handlingsrom og utviklingspotensial vurdert for hvert enkelt bygg og kulturmiljøet som helhet. Denne analysen er utført etter DIVE-metoden; et verktøy utviklet av blant annet Riksantikvaren i et nordisk samarbeid. Grunnlagsmaterialet er utarbeidet av Byantikvaren i Trondheim kommune.     P.1 of 18 1st Naturally-Aspirated Era (1NA) 1906 – 1923: 9 Racing Years This Era can be sub-divided technically into 6 years pre-WW1 (1NA-1) and 3 years post-War (1NA -2), because of the technology changes which were invented and developed to improve aero- engines during that conflict, although they did not all appear immediately afterwards in Grand Prix racing-engine design. Era 1NA-1: 1906 – 1914: 6 racing years In this sub-Era, which was preceded by 11 years of city-to-city and Gordon Bennett pre-Grand Prix Naturally-Aspirated racing, all the winning engines were IL4* and had cast-iron or machined-steel pistons in cast-iron or fabricated-steel blocks with integral heads , breathing always through a single updraught carburetter. However, the sub-Era gave rise to very rapid changes in cylinder-head design. _____________________________ * In the 1907 French GP (FGP) 3 makes of IL8 engines appeared but none finished (835,940). Abstract: The Karl E. Ludvigsen papers 1905-2011 contain his extensive research files, photographs, and prints on a wide variety of automotive topics. The papers reflect the complexity and breadth of Ludvigsen’s work as an author, researcher, and consultant. Approximately 70,000 of his photographic negatives have been digitized and are available on the Revs Digital Library. Thousands of undigitized prints in several series are also available but the copyright of the prints is unclear for many of the images.
