UEFA Super Cup teams announce media days

Timings for AC Milan and Sevilla FC activities in Monaco also confirmed

The champions of Europe, AC Milan, and the UEFA Cup holders Sevilla FC will meet at the Stade Louis II in Monaco on Friday 31 August, kicking-off at 20.45, with the 2007 UEFA Super Cup at stake. Prior to the event, the two clubs will stage Media Open Days, when the international media will have the opportunity to interview the coaching and playing staff of both teams.

AC Milan will hold their open day on Thursday 23 August at their Milanello training complex. The squad will be available for media activities as from 12.00 and there will be an open training session, also at Milanello, at 17.30.

Sevilla FC will open their doors two days earlier, on Tuesday 21 August. Players and coaching staff will be available to the media as from approximately 11.30, after the morning session at the Sevilla FC training ground. Its full name is the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios and it is located on the outskirts of the city on the Carretera de Utrera km. 1. As for the teams’ schedules in Monaco, the following arrangements have been made:

Pre-match Press Conferences will be staged on Thursday 30 August at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the scenario for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup draws.

Sevilla FC, represented by Ramos and two players, at 13.30.

AC Milan, represented by and two players, at 14.00.

Training sessions at the Stade Louis II will also take place on the evening of Thursday 30 August:

AC Milan from 19.00 to 19.45 – open to media.

Sevilla FC from 20.00 to 20.45 – open to media for the first 15 minutes.

Only media who have successfully applied to UEFA for accreditation for the Super Cup match may attend the training sessions whereas the press conferences at the Grimaldi Forum will also be open to media accredited for the club competition draws.
