Bonus VII – Vuelta – Prlolog – Časovka Jednotlivců Biomatematický model 2008 – Bonus VII – Vuelta – prlolog – časovka jednotlivců Cyklisticá sezóna 2009 jde do svého finále a k tomu patří každoročně španělská Vuelta. Letos pro nás hned se dvěma želízky v ohni – Jak se bude dařit Romanu Kreuzigerovi (Liquigas) a Františku Raboňovi (Columbia – HTC)? Kratičký prolog v cyklisticky poměrně hodně netypickém prostředí na autodromu v nizozemském Assenu představoval pro elitní jezdce necelých 6 minut jízdy nadoraz. Na 4,8km dlouhé, pro cyklisty technicky nenáročné, trati dimenzované pro motorsport se očekával útok Fabiana Cancellary (Saxo Bank), přestože Fabian by si podle svých slov na sebe nevsadil, neboť jeho forma před Vueltou je jeden velký otazník. Počasí prologu úplně nepřálo. Při nulovém převýšení trati do hry promlouval vítr a rovněž v úvodu déšť. Carlos Barredo (Quick Step) se poroučel k zemi rovnou ze startovní rampy… Za mokra se před jízdou rozehříval i poměrně v úvodu startující Roman Kreuziger. Při vlastní měřené jízdě však již bylo hezky a famozním výkonem poté dlouho figuroval v úplném čele pořadí. Nakonec z toho ale bylo skvělé 6. místo. O devět vteřin déle byl na trati František Raboň, což při vyrovnanosti pole znamenalo 45. místo. Jak si assenský prolog užili jezdci zapojení do Biomatematického modelu 2009?     1 Topsport Vlaanderen – Mercator Nieuws 2012 Kenny De Ketele knap 4de in het omnium 15 januari 2012 - UCI Track Cycling World Cup #3 - China - Peking Er stonden geen zesdaagses op het programma van Kenny De Ketele en Tim Mertens begin januari. Onze pistiers kwamen in actie op de wereldbeker baanwielrennen in Peking. Kenny De Ketele is er knap vierde geworden in het omnium. Al meteen na dag 1 stond hij op die 4de plaats. Daarmee komt ook een ticket voor de Olympische Spelen in deze discipline heel wat dichterbij. De Australiër Glenn O´Shea won voor de Fransman Bryan Coquard en de Duitser Nikias Arndt. In de ploegenachtervolging eindigden de Belgen - met naast Kenny en Tim nog Ingmar De Poortere en Steve Schets - op de 10de plaats. Een mindere prestatie, gelukkig met weinig gevolgen voor wat betreft onze kansen op een Olympische kwalificatie. In de ploegkoers tenslotte werden Kenny en Tim tweede na de Tsjechen Martin Blaha en Vojtech Hacecky. Trainingsstage en workshops zitten er op 22 januari 2012 - teamnieuws Onze renners hebben de voorbije 2 weken een druk programma afgewerkt. Na een mediatraining vertrokken ze op 10 januari naar het Spaanse Calpe voor de jaarlijkse trainingsstage. Net als vorig jaar verbleven ze er in Hotel Diamante Beach en gisteren, 11 dagen later, zijn ze teruggekeerd. De mediatraining van 9 januari werd gegeven door Steven Piessens en Frank Van Oss. Heel wat aandachtspunten werden besproken en begeleid door oefeningen. In Calpe werd er dan weer stevig gefietst onder begeleiding van de nieuwe trainer Trainer Erwin Borgonjon. Sommige dagen stonden er meer dan 200 kilometers op de teller, met daarbij 3600 hoogtemeters.
