Unter die Aberkennung der Ergebnisse fallen Ullrichs Sieg in der Tour de Suisse 2006, der 3. Schlussrang in der Tour de Suisse 2005 sowie die Erfolge in der 2. Etappe 2005 und in der 9. Etappe 2006. 1) Disqualification de Jan Ullrich Le 9 février 2012, le Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS) de Lausanne a reconnu le cycliste allemand Jan Ullrich coupable d’une infraction de dopage, suite à son implication dans le programme de dopage du Dr Fuentes. Par conséquent, tous les résultats obtenus par Ullrich à partir du 1er mai 2005 jusqu'à sa retraite, le 26 février 2007, sont annulés. Parmi ceux-ci, sa victoire au Tour de Suisse 2006, sa 3e place au classement final du Tour de Suisse 2005, ainsi que ses victoires d’étape aux Tours de Suisse 2005 (2e étape) et 2006 (9e étape).

    Organizational Forms in Professional Cycling – Efficiency Issues of the UCI Pro Tour Luca Rebeggiani§ * Davide Tondani DISCUSSION PAPER NO. 345 First Version: August 2006 This Version: July 2007 ISSN: 0949–9962 ABSTRACT: This paper gives a first economic approach to pro cycling and analyses the changes induced by the newly introduced UCI Pro Tour on the racing teams’ behaviour. We develop an oligopolistic model starting from the well known Cournot framework to analyse if the actual setting of the UCI Pro Tour leads to a partially unmeant behaviour of the racing teams. In particular, we show that the blamed regional concentration of their race participation depends on a lack of incentives stemming from the licence assignation procedure. Our theo- retical results are supported by empirical data concerning the performance of the racing teams in 2005 and 2006. As a recommendation for future improvements, we derive from the model the need for a relegation system for racing teams. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Der Aufsatz stellt die erste ökonomische Analyse des professionellen Radsports dar. Er analysiert insbesondere die Anreizwirkungen der neuen UCI Pro Tour auf Teams und Fahrer. Ausgehend von dem bekannten Cournot-Ansatz entwickeln wir ein einfaches Oligopol-Modell, um zu untersuchen, ob die der- zeitige Pro Tour-Organisation zu einem unerwünschten Verhalten der Teilnehmer führt. Wir zeigen, dass insbe- sondere das Problem der geographischen Konzentration der Rennteilnahmen der Teams von den mangelnden Anreizen abhängt, die vom jetzigen Lizenzvergabesystem ausgehen. Unsere theoretischen Ergebnisse werden durch empirische Daten aus der Pro Tour 2005 und 2006 gestützt. Als Empfehlung für zukünftige Entwicklun- gen leiten wir aus dem Modell die Notwendigkeit einer Öffnung der Pro Tour ab, mit Auf- und Abstiegsmög- lichkeiten für Rennteams.

Dezember 2013 / Die Tour de Romandie 2014 wird am 29. April im Tessin, in Ascona gestartet und endet am Sonntag, 4. Mai in Neuenburg. Heute morgen haben die Organisatoren in Freiburg, wo die 4. Etappe, eine Schleifenetappe, ausgetragen wird, den Schleier über eine höchst erfolgsversprechende nächste Ausgabe gelüftet. Dabei soll nämlich von Anfang bis zum Schluss für Spannung gesorgt werden: Nach den Etappen Ascona-Sitten, Sitten-Montreux, Le Bouveret-Aigle und der Schleife um Freiburg am Samstag wird der Schlusssieg im abschliessenden Zeitrennen in Neuenburg entschieden. Eine Neuheit auf dem diesjährigen Programm: die Organisation einer festlichen Vorstellung der Mannschaften am Montagabend, am Vorabend des Prologs in Ascona. Zum dritten aufeinander folgenden Mal doppelte der Sieger der Ausgabe 2013 mit einem Sieg an der Tour de France nach. Chris Froome, der seinen Sieg noch durch die Glanzleistung aufwertete, das gelbe Leadertrikot nach seinem Sieg im Prolog am Berghang Le Châble-Bruson durchgehend zu tragen, hat seinen Rang als Boss des Pelotons auch an der Tour de France bestätigt. Gli organizzatori dell’Unione Ciclistica Casazza, in collaborazione con l’i- deatore della manifestazione Ennio Vanotti, hanno deciso infatti di sposare questa causa, unendosi a importanti enti nazionali come l’Assocorridori e la Fiab (Federazione Italiana Amici della Bicicletta), che già da qualche anno si stanno muovendo per diffondere una corretta cultura del ciclismo sulle nostre strade. E quali migliori testimonial di chi ha scritto le pagine più belle del ciclismo internazionale? A Casazza, come sempre, i partecipanti saranno di primis- simo piano: da Moser a Savoldelli, da Chiappucci a Contini, passando per Dancelli, Zandegù, Visentini, Guerini e molti altri ancora.
