Office of Institutional Research and Assessment 8/21/2014 This report contains information pertaining to enrollment, student composition, and the percentage of ESL and Exchange students that are now pursuing a degree in a degree applicable program at UWest. Fo Guang University has sent over the most exchange students, however, Shanghai Business School has the highest percentage of students matriculating as degree-seeking. Taiwan has contributed the most students since 2010; however, a higher percentage of Chinese students have matriculated as degree-seeking. In addition, the success rate, measured by graduation rates, of ESL students matriculating as a degree- seeking student has increased in unison. What we are seeing is that more ESL students are matriculating as degree-seeking at UWest, and a vast majority of them (nearly 100%) are graduating. Most ESL students tend to matriculate as MBA majors; however, the graduation rate is a meager 58%.
