Topic: Proud To Be A Nepali is a beautiful country situated in the lap of Himalayas, the king of the mountains. It is a favorite abode of Pashupatinath. It is the sacred place where sages and saints practice penance. The world’s highest peak Mt.Everest is situated in our country. Lord Buddha, the messenger of world peace, was a beloved son of Nepal. The ideal woman Sita was also born in the holy land of Nepal. Nepalese warriors like Amar Singh , and Balbhadra Kunwar fought bravely in the battle against the British and kept Nepal independent. It’s the second richest country in the world in water resources. Rare animals and birds are found in the forest of Nepal. Several kinds of herbs are found in our forests which make Nepal really rich and famous. Nepal is a common garden of four caste and thirty six sub- castes. People of different castes, languages and religions live in peace and harmony here. The scenic beauty and uniqueness of Nepal attract tourists from all over the world. These are the reasons why I feel proud to be a citizen of Nepal.
