The e-voucher has been previously sent to your e-mail and contains a unique barcode that can only be used once. Please bring your e-voucher with a barcode printed out and your photo ID. It will not be possible to scan the barcodes from your electronic devices. The wristband you get gives you the entrance to the EXIT festival. You will get your wristband only once, so please take good care of it, because once removed from the wrist is no longer valid. Communicated on 25 June 2014 THIRD SECTION Application no. 5591/10 Milica ĐORĐEVIĆ and others against Serbia and 3 other applications (see list appended) STATEMENT OF FACTS A list of the applicants is set out in the appendix. They are all represented by the Belgrade Center for Human Rights, a non-governmental organisation based in Serbia. A. The relevant background An attempt was made on 31 June 2001 to hold a rally intended by its organisers to promote the equality and visibility of lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender population in Serbia (the “Belgrade Pride Parade”) in central Belgrade. This event was violently disrupted and the rally had to be stopped. The next attempt to hold such a rally was made in 2009 (see below). A “Pride Parade” was held in central Belgrade on 10 October 2010 with official permission. While the parade itself was held without incidents, the police had to confront numerous violent opponents who tried to disrupt it. It was reported that more than 100 police officers were injured. No “Pride Parades” have been permitted since. The applications concern the applicants’ attempts to hold “Pride Parades” in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. B. General tendencies are focused on the tourist development towards new directions in the domain of particular needs. Future touristic development should be based on the various rural areas. Pollution, allienation from the natural environment, standardization are only a few concepts of ordinary life influencing a lot of people to turn back towards nature and the healthy way of living. Vojvodina is situated on the north part of Serbia, belonging to the Panonian area. Natural and geographical benefits offer good possibilities for investing and development. Vojvodina is marked with very attractive natural ambient: Fruška Gora, National Park, Kovilj- Petrovaradin boogy region, typical villages and farms, rivers like Danube, Tisa Tamiš etc. This area, also is characterized by rich antropogenesis resource marked with strong multiethnic element. All above mentioned characteristics offer great potential for further rural development and represent the possible starting point for further total development of this area. It is the single biggest multi-billion-dollar export earning industry; it is the nontraditional exporting industry with the greatest prospect for labor-using growth. At present, over seventy five percent of the total export earnings is from the RMG industry, and it employs near to 1.6 million of people of which about ninety percent are women. As the industry recruits, available, unskilled, semiskilled, and little educated workforce, the wage payments to the workers are lower, sometimes below the minimum wage. This wage cost advantage is the most significant factor of the RMG industry expansion in the economy. But the labor productivity is very low like wages; in fact, it is comparable with any other South Asian country. Unfortunately, the owners not only exploit the workers paying low wages, but also provide poor quality of working conditions, medical, leaves, and other facilities.
