Alumni Meet Report-2017 ALUMNI MEET REPORT-2017 Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Alumni meet on 22-04-2017 at college premises. Four hundred and ten members were enrolled up to April 2017 out of which one hundred and fifty members were participated in the program. The program was flagged off by Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu, Member of Parliament, Anakapalle Constituency, Chairman and founder of Avanthi group of colleges, was the chief guest and Prof. B Satyam, Director, AIET was the Guest of Honor attended along with Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal . Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu opined that the alumni should act like brand ambassadors of the institute and should maintain Neutral relationship with the institute. Prof. B Satyam said that alumnus should stand as a backbone of the college and they should represent the values in the society and their association should remain forever. Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal addressed the gathering that the strength of the alumni is the strength of the institution and appreciated alumni association for their support. THE MAIN MOTTO: To share the experiences in the competitive world and to expand the opportunities to avail by alumnus. ALUMNI MEET REPORT-2016 Alumni Association organized Alumni meet of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology on 23-04-2016 at college premises. Three hundred and forty members were enrolled up to April 2016 out of which one hundred and fifteen members were participated in the program. Prof. V. Uma Maheswara Rao Registrar Andhra University Visakhapatnam was invited as chief Guest, Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu, Member of Parliament, Anakapalle Constituency, Chairman and founder of Avanthi group of colleges and Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal attended the inaugural function of the alumni meet. Prof. V.Uma Maheswara Rao explained the significance of alumni reunion for the growth of the institution. Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu said that alumni has to contribute for the development of the college. Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal addressed the gathering that our college has responsibility towards its stakeholders. At the same time these stakeholders should contribute towards the development of college. The alumni are an important stakeholder. Alumnus shared their experiences as students and as professionals. Different events were organized for the alumnus to encourage them. THE MAIN MOTTO: To foster good rapport between the management, staff and students on the one end and the public on the other end for the growth and development of the college to make it better for its public image. ALUMNI MEET REPORT-2015 Alumni Association organized the Alumni meet of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology on 25-04-2015 in the college premises. Two hundred and thirty five members were enrolled up to April 2015 out of which eighty members participated in the program. The program was flagged off by Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu (Member of Parliament, Anakapalle Constituency) Chairman and founder of Avanthi group of colleges who was the chief guest of the occasion, Dr. M. Priyanka General Secretary, Mr. I. Shravan Kumar, Managing Director, Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal attended the inaugural function of the alumni meet. The Chief Guest in his address emphasized the importance of student education, discipline and further efforts in Technical fields. And need to remember the almamater. Dr. M. Priyanka, General Secretary addressed the gathering and informed that the past students of the college are successful in various fields like teaching, government services, business, professions, company secretaries, software development, IT, etc. The college has also encouraged meritorious past students to work as staff members in the college. Dr V S V Prabhakar, Principal suggested the alumni to share their experiences with the current students and help them getting exposed to the realities of the world of work. They are also invited as guest lecturers in the areas of their expertise, to deliver their speeches on various subjects. Few of the alumni shared their experiences as well as interesting moments of campus life to the audience. ALUMNI MEET REPORT-2014 Alumni Association organized the Alumni meet of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology on 26-04-2014 at college premises. One hundred and Sixty members were enrolled up to April 2014 out of which seventy two members participated in the program. K Ram Mohan Rao,Registrar Andhra University, Visakhapatnam was the chief Guest, Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu, MLA, Bheemili Constituency, Chairman and founder of Avanthi group of colleges and Dr P Krishna Rao, Principal attended the inaugural function of the alumni meet. The chief guest Prof. K Ram Mohan Rao, Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in his address stressed on the need of close collaboration of Alumni members with the college to improve academic matters and employment opportunities. Alumni members should come to the college (at their convenient time and date) and address the students. Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu said that the alumni are the brand ambassadors of the institute and must establish a good relationship with the institute. He also said that an alumnus has to contribute to the development of the college. Principal addressed the gathering about the strength of an alumnus who was the strength of the institution and appreciated all alumni for their support. This Alumni meet had a huge participation of students due to the overwhelming support of our staff members and also with good publicity. THE MAIN MOTTO: To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of the day by organizing and coordinating reunion activities of the Alumni. Following Points were discussed at the event 1. To take alumni feedback on academic activities. 2. Increase in placements through maintaining a relationship with alumni in the long run ALUMNI MEET REPORT-2013 An alumni meet is organized to celebrate and strengthen the old relationships of our students and to form new ones. Alumni Association organized the Alumni meet of Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology on 27-04-2013 at college premises. Ninety members were enrolled up to April 2013 out of which forty six members participated in the program. Mr Ganta srinivasa rao, MLA was the chief guest and Prof. Chandu Subbarao, Director was the Guest of Honor, Sri Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao Garu, MLA, Bheemili Constituency, Chairman of the group and Dr P Krishna Rao, Principal attended the inaugural function of the alumni meet. The chief Guest Mr Ganta srinivasa rao, MLA said that it is a time of reflecting, remembering the good old times with memories of the Alumni and looking forward with a sense of purpose and anticipation. He updated the alumni concepts about new initiatives to be taken up by the institute and congratulated alumni council members for guiding students in the areas of entrepreneurship, placement preparation, career opportunities etc. Prof. Chandu Subbarao said that this idea of Alumni Meet, Creates a special bonding between the present faculty members and the ones who were graduated & have established themselves already in the outside world. “ I believe an Alumni Meet is a perfect platform for you to meet and revive the bonds with your peers and teachers.” He stressed in his speech. .
