Ratnakar, Head, R&D am happy to learn that the Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology has completed 10 glorious I years of its existence to celebrate with visible pride its Decennial, an important milestone in the life of an Institution dedicated to the cause of imparting quality technical education. Ever since its inception, this College is in the vanguard of upholding the high standards of professional dignity and decorum as per my knowledge goes. DIET as an institute is rising fast in stature, ranking, memberships to premier bodies and the success of its alumni in India and abroad points out the exceptional management and leadership skills of its faculty and students. My dear student friends I am happy in jotting a few lines for you through this college Magazine, Believe in quotes of Nelson Mandela "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." And "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Don't feel sad because you are different from others. Every unique skill and talent has the potential to make you a superstar. Embrace your personality and unchain your inner strength. Don't forget - the one thing that all successful people have in common is that they were different than everyone around them. I wish both the students and the institute to have a great future and wish them to cherish the 'memories'. 1 "We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future." - Franklin D. Roosevelt hese words by Franklin D. Roosevelt perfectly describe the aim of my young friend Dadi Ratnakar who is the chief architect of Dadi Institute of Engineering Tand Technology. Beyond providing a sound education, he wishes to provide the students a holistic learning experience for life. I have been acquainted with the Dadi Family for more than 30 years. Being in close quarters with them, I observed that they have been moulding the student fraternity as Nation Builders by crafting their future. Dear students, "You are the nation-builders. You are the movers of technology. You are the agents of change." It is our fervent hope that the years you spend at educational institutes would enable you to equip with leadership and managerial skills. The knowledge that you will gain, the fine qualities that you will imbibe and the technical skills that you will learn to apply will be your major contribution to your parents, to society, and to the nation. I believe that this Memoir 2017 provides the benchmark to the continued improvements of the college. This magazine should be a good source of guidance for faculty and coming batches of students in choosing activities of their choice. I appreciate the efforts of the Editorial team for excellently compiling the activities of DIET and disseminating through this magazine and its website. 2 t's a matter of great privilege and pride for us that Dadi Institute of Engineering & Technology ( DIET) is coming up with the Institute Annual Magazine - MEMOIR for Ithe Academic year 2016-2017 which will be informative and resourceful. I am glad to know that the institute promotes Technical events, Conferences, Seminars, Creative writing, Campus activities and Extra curricular events which are an integral part of curriculum to boost the students morale and efficiency. It gives me an immense pleasure to learn that DIET is the only technical institute in the country to have fully functioning professional bodies of National and International repute which has left an indelible impression of its brand in the International arena. The close association with the management over years has given me a unique perspective of their high level of commitment to quality education and enthusiasm towards constant academic development. I take this opportunity to extend my warm greetings to the management for the publication of the Annual Magazine and my best wishes to the students for realizing their goals. 3 am highly exhilarated to congratulate the Management, Principal, Faculty and Students of Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology for reaching Ia milestone - Ten years of Existence. (Decennial Celebrations) In order to accomplish the vision and mission, educational institutes have to put forth possible endeavors for the betterment of academic scenario in our country. I believe that education is an effective medium of social transformation which promotes self confidence and adaptability. Naturally, we feel exalted and get encouragement, looking at the bright and successful careers of our student fraternity, that subsequently benefit the society. DIET is one such institute which is shaping the modern India. Dadi Institute has triumphantly alighted ten years of success in providing the holistic development of its students. I appreciate the outstanding progress of Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology over the years and wish future prospects on its onward journey of Excellence in Engineering Education.
