Hello fellow inmates! By Jason Sadly, we've not been able to meet face to face for a few weeks. However, some of us we've been seeing and hearing from each other twice a day using modern technology. If you have a smartphone, computer or tablet and have connection to the internet you can join us too.

All you need to do is go to https://zoom.us and download the programme for your device.

It is free (we've paid for the service) and once you join you can meet up with the group twice a day at 11am and 7pm. We've had a lot of fun and kept each other going through this tricky time by sharing stories, laughter, hints, tips, games and lots of support.

We would love to see more of you join us on Zoom and are happy to guide you through the process over the phone. Christine’s Isolation Experience. When the lockdown started I was dreading it, as I lived alone. I was concerned for my mental health. Then I got an email off jason inviting me to join the group zoom meetings. I clicked on the link and followed instructions n found it quite easy. It was great seeing and talking to people in group, chatting, laughing, quizzes, games but mostly the feeling of being connected.

We have such a good laugh, quizzes, games and advice sharing. Due to these meetings I feel more connected and less lonely than I ever have. It's not like I'm in isolation, it's great. It's like the friends I love come to visit me in my home twice a day, honestly, it's amazing. Come join the fun!!! X

Christine’s Top Tip for the Vulnerable For those who are elderly or vulnerable, if you ring your local council you can register as a vulnerable person. They can help you with shopping and collecting meds. You also qualify for free food parcels from the government. NPT council number is 01639 686868. Also, Age Cymru provide 2 course meals delivered to your door for 5 pound and a small delivery charge. The meals are lovely. The number for that is 01639 895203. X

Telephone Chain by Maureen. What an unprecedented time this is for us all. Life has become a real challenge. Luckily, we have our members’ names and contact details and are managing to check up on everyone to make sure that everyone is coping during this time of stress and anxiety.
