With CalMac your island experience begins the moment you step on board

MV Finlaggan or Fionnlagan is the newest addition to the CalMac fleet and was named by Mrs Gina McAuslan, Chair of The Finlaggan Trust, at a special naming ceremony at , on Wednesday 25 May 2011. MV Finlaggan is named after the historic settlement on Eilean Mòr in Loch Finlaggan, in the north east corner of Islay. Finlaggan was at one time, the centre of the Lordship of the Isles.

Built by the Remontowa Group of Gdansk, Poland, MV Finlaggan can accommodate up to 550 passengers and 85 cars, measures 90 metres in length and is capable of speeds in excess of 17 knots. Deck 5 Stern Bow
