Dagny Rockefeller 10th March 2018 The Norwegian pop singer Dagny had success with her debut single "Backbeat". The acoustic version of the song was featured on Grey's Anatomy in the episode "True Colors". Dagny has consistently released perfect pop songs since her debut and this is said to be the most perfect of them all. Tickets available now

Christmas Market at Hadeland Glassverk, 4th Nov. – 23rd December The market is located in the glasswork's gallery building, and bursting with Christmas decorations, stars, angels, wreaths and elves of all shapes and sizes: everything you need to decorate your home for Christmas and get into the festive spirit. Hadeland Glassverk is located about one hour’s drive outside of Oslo.

The bric-a-brac/ antiques market is located on the corner of Professor Dahls gate and Neuberggata, not far from Vigeland Park. Open on Saturdays from Mar-Dec.

Birkelunden bric-a-brac market, Sunday 5th November Outdoor market at Birkelunden with used items from the 40s to the 00s. The market is open on most Sundays throughout the year from 12 noon until 7 pm (until dark in the winter season).

Sunday market around Blå, Sunday 5th November Sundays all year there is a handicraft and second-hand market around Blå at Grünerløkka: Knit wear, jewellery, ceramics, glass, wool, clothes, toys, paintings, bags etc.

FESTIVALS Oslo World 31st October – 5th November Oslo World (prev. Oslo World Music Festival) is one of Europe's leading world music festivals, and gives the opportunity to hear fantastic voices from all corners of the world. The programme includes 300 artists in more than 15 venues around Oslo, including flamenco, soul and tango, electronica, , desert blues and rock as well as meetings with designers, architects and actors. This year’s festival theme is avant-garde at the periphery. The organisers have invited artists and activists who are in the frontline, who are pioneers, who promote radical ideas, who are unconventional and who create important meeting places. Autism= Human Art Exhibition Gallery Autonom, 3rd November 19:00-22:00, 4th and 5th November 12:00-18:00 Can the young autist talents use the world of art as a way of communicating? Is this an art or a way of communicating with the world of "others"? The questions were asked to design this exhibition. CONCERTS Oslo Philharmonic – Schumann festival Oslo Concert House, 2nd and 3rd November Schumann was a composer who could get the keys to sing, the strings to whirl and the orchestra to bubble off the fantasies of the future. Celtic Roots Ensemble Riksscenen, 2nd November at 20:30 Celtic Roots Ensemble was put together for a recording in the series “Jazz at Berlin Philharmonic”, that presents music that has influenced the European jazz tradition from different directions. The result was the live album Jazz at Berlin Philharmonic VI: Celtic Roots, that received wide attention both in jazz and music circles in Europe. Junior Eurovision 2017 Telenor Arena, 4th November at 22:00 Do not miss the Junior Eurovision contest, 2017. 14 young talents will perform and compete for the title in front of a 15 000 audience. The Junior Eurovision is the largest performance and song competition for 8 – 15year olds in Norway. Arranged by the national broadcaster, NRK, the concert will also be broadcast live. With her steady groove and warm, personal sound, her music transcends genres: from alternative pop and rock, to jazz, to improvised and electronic music. Madame Ghandi is a Los Angeles based artist who dares to speak her mind, both musically and politically. After a stint as American popular artist M.I.A’s drummer, Madame Ghandi went solo. Oslo Swingers Club Smelteverket, 4th November at 17:00 A free concert with Oslo Swingers club. A swing jazz band who will get dancing feet moving with lively swing jazz music. GUIDED TOURS Oslo Food Tours: The Beer Tour Start: Olaf Ryes plass until 30th December at 15:30 Few cities in the world have embraced microbrewing with the same passion as Oslo. This microbrewery beer tour takes you through the vibrant area of Grünerløkka, where microbreweries are particularly plentiful. The tour lasts for just over two hours and includes stops at three different microbreweries where you can sample several kinds of beers. In the restaurant, Henrik Ibsen would eat his daily lunch and Edvard Munch once offered to swap the painting ‘Sick Girl’ in return for 100 steak dinners. The newly renovated restaurant is still one of the city's great meeting places. The interior design is updated and relaxed, with an open kitchen solution. The restaurant serves Nordic food with inspiration from around the world.
