BORED TO DEATH RETURNS TO HBO

Miami, October 11th, 2011 – HBO Latin announced the October 14th premiere of , season three, in the Caribbean. Created by real-life author , the series centers on the comedic romps of a noir-obsessed writer who moonlights as an unlicensed private detective listing his services on .

Throughout the eight upcoming episodes of Bored to Death, the fictional Jonathan Ames () continues to ply his unlicensed detective trade, getting caught up in increasingly risky jobs and absurd adventures around City with George Christopher () and Ray Hueston (), his ever-supportive partners in solving crime. In addition, a shocking revelation drives Jonathan to embark on one of his most important cases yet: the quest to find his biological father.

At the same time, Jonathan’s writing career finally starts to look up with the publication of his long-delayed second book. On the other hand, George, also Jonathan’s mentor and benefactor, has left the magazine business to open his artisanal restaurant George on Jane, while also attempting to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Lastly, cartoonist Ray finds new preoccupations when one of the lesbians who bought his sperm on the black market contacts him after her divorce.

Also returning as a cast regular this season is Heather Burns as Ray’s girlfriend, Leah. Guest stars include series veterans Allyce Beasley, , Olympia Dukakis, , Richard Masur,, and , as well as , , , , , David Rasche, , , and , among others.

Bored to Death is a half-hour HBO Original comedy series created by Jonathan Ames, and executive produced by Ames, Sarah Condon, Stephanie Davis and Dave Becky.
