FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Susan Saad Director of Community Relations Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area [email protected] 208-332-5129 (O) 208-631-1657 (C) BOGUS BASIN ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS BOISE, Idaho – November 16, 2016 Bogus Basin Recreational Association, Inc., a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that provides accessible, affordable and fun year-round mountain recreation and education, announced today that two new members have been selected to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors. Michel Bourgeau is an Account Executive in Corporate Health Services at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Michel is responsible for developing collaborative relationships with small businesses, corporations, school districts and other community organizations in areas of occupational medicine, corporate wellness and value health networks. Prior to joining Saint Alphonsus he served as development director and varsity B coordinator at the Boise State University Department of Athletics. Bourgeau received his B.B.A. from Boise State University and an MA in physical education from Idaho State University. A former Boise State and Canadian Football League professional athlete, Bourgeau was inducted into the Boise State Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. Michel, a former coach for the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation, has enjoyed the slopes at Bogus Basin with his family for many years. Ross Borden is Finance Director at Capital City Development Corporation where he directs the Agency’s financial and contracting affairs. Prior to joining CCDC in 2013, Ross gained vast and valuable experience as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of Boise Mayor’s Office. He is an Idaho native with undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Idaho. Ross has enjoyed many wonderful days and nights at Bogus Basin with his wife and three children. He looks forward to helping Bogus Basin remain affordable as it moves into its bright future. ## About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain, and 165 acres for night skiing; seven lifts and two people-mover carpets; and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails. Summer activities include mountain biking, amphitheater events, disc golf private events, and hiking. Bogus Basin is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, Idaho and operates under a special use permit with the Boise National Forest. www.bogusbasin.org. .
