Korjus left Spain with a 12-point championship lead. 05:34 Arthur Pic took his first Eurocup win at Spa, but Korjus finished second in order to extend his championship lead over Luciano Bacheta. And he extended this further, with his third win of the season in race 2. 05:43 Pic dominated at Brno winning both races from pole position, as Korjus finished off the podium in both races, losing eight points to Bacheta who finished third in each race. 05:53 Korjus returned to form at Magny-Cours taking his fourth win as well as a third place finish. Giovanni Venturini claimed the other race win, for his only victory of the season. 06:01 Pic and Bacheta shared the wins at the Hungaroring with Pic moving into second place behind Korjus in the overall classification. 06:12 Action shots + GFX 2010 Formula Renault 2.0 Classification The battle for second position still on till the end of the season, Korjus took profit of the situation to secure his title in the last meetings, finishing 2010 with a 60 points advantage on his main opponents. These are real races, with one qualifying session for each race, meaning that you have to be good all the time. We have 7 races in the championship, so we also have to be consistent. That will make us stronger at the end of the year… I came here for learning a lot first of all, with a lot of humility because it will be very difficult… But also very motivated… 07:38 Action Shots # 4 Miki WECKSTROM (FIN) Tech1 Racing Finishing 15 th in the championship in 2010, Fin Miki Weckestrom is also one of the most experienced drivers this season and even if he was not 100% satisfied after his test days at Motorland Aragon Circuit.

    Press Kit 2018 // introduction Launched in 2016 by Renault Sport Racing and Renault Sport Formula One Team, the Renault Sport Academy is tasked with discovering and nurturing young driver talent through the racing ranks, where, ultimately, Renault Sport Formula One Team aims to find drivers able to deliver the team world championship titles. Drivers are selected on ability and potential, with the Academy able to draw upon Renault Sport Racing’s vast experience in motorsport as well as its global markets to find such talent. Mia Sharizman manages the programme and has a range of experience in motorsport including at Formula 1, Formula 2 and GP3 level. For 2018, the Academy has retained four drivers from its 2017 intake. Jack Aitken, a member since its inception in 2016, signs for a third year, as does Sun Yue Yang. Max Fewtrell and Christian Lundgaard both impressed in their first seasons with the Academy and both remain for a second year. The Academy is delighted to welcome three new drivers to the programme. As part of his prize for winning the highly-competitive Formula Renault Eurocup, Sacha Fenestraz has agreed to accept a place with the Academy. Arthur Rougier, winner of the 2017 French Formula 4 Championship, is on-board for 2018, alongside Victor Martins, runner-up to Arthur in his rookie season of single-seater racing. Four members will go wheel to wheel in the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2018 with Max, Christian, Arthur and Victor all set to contest the exciting series that races on nine Grand Prix circuits, including the streets of Monaco.

    Press Release OCTOBER 22, 2012 Seven meetings and a whole lot more in 2013 World Series by Renault turns nine in 2013, and the calendar for the year will feature seven meetings, all organised by Renault Sport Technologies, including a first visit for WSR to Austria and the Red Bull Ring. Also on the schedule are three European Le Mans Series events, while Formula Renault 3.5 Series will make stop­offs at Monza and Monaco, where it will provide the warm­up act for the most prestigious Formula One Grand Prix of the season. Not to be outdone, Eurocup Clio has also been given additional slots at Imola and Navarra. As is now the tradition, the forthcoming World Series by Renault season will get under way at Motorland Aragon in late April, by which time the battle for the Formula Renault 3.5 Series will have already commenced at Monza, the home of motorsport, on the first weekend of the month. FR 3.5 Series has another key date to keep at the end of May when it decamps to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix weekend, giving the drivers another opportunity to test their skills on the principality’s streets, with the movers and shakers of F1 looking on. The four WSR categories will reconvene in early June at Spa­Francorchamps, before heading east to Russia’s Moscow Raceway and swinging back west for their very first get­together at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. The first stop after the midsummer break is Hungary, with the season then coming to a close with the Paul Ricard meeting in France and the big finale at Spain’s Catalunya circuit.
