GEOGRAPHY OF TAIWAN & APPLIED GEOSPATIAL SCIENCE This course will introduce students to geography of Taiwan and basics of applied geospatial science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), digital mapping, GPS, and Remote Sensing. Students will travel to Taiwan for a ten-day tour of geographic, geologic, and cultural sites with geospatial applications in Taiwan. Through this course, students can see, feel, and immerse in the physical and cultural environments, and realize how geospatial technologies have changed people’s life in Taiwan DAY 1 DAY 11 Sunday 6/4 Arrival at Taoyuan Airport.
