Call to Order TAC Chair Brown called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m. II. Roll Call Members were sufficient to establish a quorum. III. Pledge of Allegiance Dr. Brown led in the Pledge of Allegiance. IV. Moment of Contemplation Dr. Brown led in a moment of contemplation. V. Public Comment None. VI. Approval of Previous Meeting Summary – May 21, 2019 Motioned by Stu Marvin and seconded by Derek Doughty, the TAC approved the summary unanimously. VII. ELAPP Strategic Acquisitions Map, Ross Dickerson, Hillsborough County Mr. Dickerson gave a presentation concerning this protection program which purchases land for environmental preservation and conservation through the Jan K. Platt ELAP Program. The responsibilities of the program include prescribed 3 burning, invasive species control, wildlife inventory, trail maintenance, feral animal control and habitat improvements for endangered and threatened species of plants and animals. VIII. Consistency Recommendation: a. Port Tampa Bay Permit No. 66415 b. Port Tampa Bay Permit No. 67515 c. Port Tampa Bay Permit No. 67838 d. Port Tampa Bay Permit No. 68244 Motioned by Stu Marvin and seconded by Jackie Julien, all four permits were unanimously recommended to be found consistent with the Hillsborough River Master Plan by the River Board. IX. Other Business TAC Chair Brown stated that he will not be available for the September meeting. Mr. Formica discussed flows and levels of the Hillsborough River. Mr. Marvin noted a heavy bat population under the Laurel Street Bridge. Mr. Gross announced the annual Hillsborough River Coastal Clean Up on September 21, 2019. Mr. Tinch mentioned that the Water Goat was collecting a great deal of debris. Ms. Julien stated that there is an Audubon Society meeting on October 17- 20, 2019. Ms. Bryant informed the TAC that there were many new employees with the EPC, so others will attend the TAC meetings as she is moving into wetlands enforcement. Meeting adjourned. 4 AGENDA ITEM VIII.
