Common Wood Walk Walks likely to be suitable for people with impaired mobility and users of wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs Common Wood is a semi-natural ancient woodland. It is largely beechwood but there are also strands of oak, aspen, an avenue of Douglas firs and Scots pine. The woods attract many different species of flora and fauna and in the spring there are carpets of bluebells.
