Sažetak Gradovi Hamburg, Rennes, Lausanne i Liverpool su europski gradovi sa različitim sustavom podzemne željeznice čiji razvoj odgovara ekonomskoj situaciji gradskih središta. Trenutno stanje pojedinih podzemno željeznićkih sustava i njihova primjenjena tehnologija uvelike odražava stanje razvoja javnog gradskog prijevoza i mreže javnog gradskog prometa. INTRODUCTION DEFINATION AND MEANING Inventory is a list of goods and materials, or those goods and materials themselves, held available in stock by a business. Inventory are held in order to manage and hide from the customer the fact that manufacture/supply delay is longer than delivery delay, and also to ease the effect of imperfections in the manufacturing process that lower production efficiencies if production capacity stands idle for lack of materials. The reasons for keeping stock All these stock reasons can apply to any owner or product stage. Buffer stock is held in individual workstations against the possibility that the upstream workstation may be a little delayed in providing the next item for processing. Whilst some processes carry very large buffer stocks, Toyota moved to one (or a few items) and has now moved to eliminate this stock type. Safety stock is held against process or machine failure in the hope/belief that the failure can be repaired before the stock runs out. This type of stock can be eliminated by programmes like Total Productive Maintenance Overproduction is held because the forecast and the actual sales did not match. -
Report Report INTRODUCTION
Report Report INTRODUCTION The efforts the Catalan government is making to extend the public transport network to new points of the territory and improve the quality of the service have made a notable contribution to the increase in demand, especially in the second half of 2010. For example, in the sphere of the integrated fare system for the Barcelona area a total of 922.33 million journeys were recorded for 2010, 0.9% more than the previous year, thanks largely to the increase in the number of journeys by Metro, a 5.4% increase over 2009. Moreover, this upward tendency in the number of journeys made by public transport has been confirmed in the first quarter of 2011, and the forecasts for the close of the year LLUÍS RECODER I MirAllES already point to a record annual figure. Councillor for Territory and Sustainability and Chairman of the This recovery of demand is partly due to the set of measures taken to improve the infra- Metropolitan Transport Authority structure which the Catalan government is promoting in order to extend the public transport network and bring it to new centres of population, thus substantially broadening its area of coverage. It was in 2010 that new sections of the Metro came into operation, such as L9/L10 between Gorg and La Sagrera, L5 between Horta and Vall d’Hebron, and L2 between Pep Ventura and Badalona Pompeu Fabra. It was in the same year that Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat opened the station at Volpelleres near Sant Cugat del Vallès. In the field of road public transport various bus lines have been modified and extended to adapt their routes to the new needs for access to strategic facilities and other points where a large number of journeys are concentrated. -

A Model Layout Region Optimization for Feeder Buses of Rail Transit
Available online at www.sciencedirect.com Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences 43 ( 2012 ) 773 – 780 8th International Conference on Traffic and Transportation Studies Changsha, China, August 1–3, 2012 A Model Layout Region Optimization for Feeder Buses of Rail Transit Yucong Hua, Qi Zhanga, Weiping Wangb,* a School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou 510640, China b Dongguan Geographic Information & Urban Planning Research Center, Dongguan 523129, China Abstract This paper analyses the characteristics of urban rail transit and conventional buses and then expands on the necessity of combining them. Based on previous studies, a method of laying region and route of urban rail transit feeder buses is proposed. According to the definition of marginal trip distance which is the boundary of choosing a direct bus or rail-feeder bus (transfer is considered here) to destination, the influence of service level on passenger’s choosing behavior is combined with the generalized trip cost in the indirect gravitation-regions of urban rail transit. On this basis, a model for layout region of feeder buses is constructed and an algorithm is proposed. Finally, a numerical example of the joining routine layout between urban rail transit and conventional buses in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, China is presented to evaluate the model. The result shows that the model with high accuracy is easy to apply, and is the important basis for laying design of feeder buses. © 20122012 PublishedPublished by by Elsevier Elsevier B.V. Ltd. Abstract. Along with the rapidly increasing pressure of urban transportation, China's subway operation is facing the challenge of high-density passenger flow. In order to improve the level of subway operation and ensure its safety, it is necessary to analyze and study the operation status of the metro station under the condition of high-density passenger flow, and propose the corresponding improvement scheme. Taking Guangzhou Metro as the study object, this paper discusses and analyzes the operation and management status of Guangzhou Metro Station. And combined with the risks and deficiencies in the operation and organization of Guangzhou metro, effective improvement measures are proposed in this paper. Operation Status of Guangzhou Metro The first line of Guangzhou Metro opened on June 28, 1997, and Guangzhou became the fourth city in mainland China to open and operate the subway. As of April 26, 2018, Guangzhou Metro has 13 operating routes, with 391.6 km and 207 stations in total, whose opening mileage ranks third in China and fourth in the world now. As of July 24, 2018, Guangzhou Metro Line Network had transported 1.645 billion passengers safely, with an average daily passenger volume of 802.58 million, an increase of 7.88% over the same period of 2017 (7.4393 million). -
