Then Sister Sledge grew up, and so did the group's music, with a notable assist from Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers of the Chic Organization. They were Fam-i-lee, and became well-known enough to appear On "Good Morning America," after scoring with "He's The Greatest Dancer" and "We Are Family" from the LP of the same name. Another strong Chic-produced LP, "Love Somebody today," followed. Since then, however, the sisters have wandered from producer to producer, first, Narada Michael l&g Walden, then themselves, now George Duke on their latest LP, "Betcha Say That To All The Girls." §| The results are forgettable. The album's first single, "BYOB," has a nice hook but grows old fast. Otherwise, there's not much not to speak of here. Even the cover is boring. -- Allen Johnson | I The Spell Syreeia . - I Tamla Syreeta Wright, one-time heartthrob, of Stevie Wonder, is searching for a hit.
