UEFA EURO 2020 FedEx Ball Kids Entry Guidance Notes

This guide provides essential information for you to read and consider ahead of nominating a child to be a FedEx Ball Kid at a UEFA EURO 2020 match. Please follow the guidance in this document when completing your entry.

Contact Information for FedEx or TNT employee

• Please enter your personal details. • If you do not know your FedEx or TNT ID number, please speak with your manager. • If you’re a winner, you’ll receive prize confirmation by text and email. • Accurately enter an email address you monitor regularly. • Provide a mobile telephone number, including country code, which you have regular access to. • You’ll have to accept by the date given to secure your prize, so please keep a look out and be ready to respond quickly. • If you are not the parent/guardian of the child you are nominating and they are selected as a FedEx Ball Kid for a UEFA EURO 2020 match, you will be able to change the name of adult who will accompany the child during their experience. This change can be made during the winner notification communications that will be issued in March 2021.

Child Nomination*

• You can nominate as many children that meet the family relation and UEFA criteria. • Complete a separate entry form for each child you want to nominate. • Do not nominate the same child twice, duplicate nominations will be removed. • Select the size of kit and football boots required to fit the nominated child. • UEFA will aim to provide football kits and boots at the sizes requested, however this may not be possible in all occasions and nearest available sizes will be provided.

*Parents/guardians will be required to provide proof of age for the child during the winner registration process for UEFA accreditation; and on arrival on match day when collecting their match ticket.

Child’s Interest in Football

• The nominated child must have an active interest in football and understand the rules of the game. • An active interest in football can include: playing in a team (club/school) or regularly with friends; watching a team at a stadium or on television; or plays football games on a computer. • Only tick the box if the child has an active interest in football and understands the rules of the game. • If the child does not have an active interest in football or understand the rules, this experience will not be suitable for them. • Also, consider if the child will be able to fulfil the physical requirements of the role i.e. being pitch side for up to two hours in a stadium environment and able to maintain concentration throughout.

Match Selection

• You can nominate a child for the matches* taking place in your country listed on the form. • Multiple matches can be selected. The nominated child will be entered in to each match draw. • UEFA requires FedEx Ball Kids to arrive at the meeting venue 7.5 hours before the match kick-off for pre-match registration and briefings, before being transported to the stadium for further training and stadium orientation. • After the match, FedEx Ball Kids and parents/guardians will be transported from the stadium to the departure venue/hotel. • Please consider the stated FedEx Ball Kids arrival/departure times when selecting matches.

*Attending a UEFA EURO 2020 match, including travel time to-and-from the stadium, does not constitute working hours and should be considered as the applicant’s free time. Any resulting absence from work (parent/guardian) and school/college (child), needs to be authorised through normal work/school/college absence request processes. Travel, tips, food, drinks and other personal expenses are not included in the prize. These items cannot be processed via FedEx or TNT expenses.

Accommodation

• If you’ll be travelling from outside of the host city, accommodation (one-night) can be provided for the child and one parent/guardian. • Depending on kick-off time, accommodation will be provided either the night before the match*, or on the evening of the match for all other matches. • Consider your journey time and arrangements on match day and the following day, including work and school/college commitments, before requesting accommodation. • For evening/night kick-offs, also consider that you will be returning to the departure point after the match. Matches in the knock out stages may go to extra-time and penalties resulting in even later departure times from the stadium and from the departure point/hotel. • Please tick the box if you would like to request accommodation and provide your home postcode. • All accommodation requests will be considered, but accommodation is not guaranteed. • Parking at the accommodation (when provided) is not included.

*Matches where accommodation is provided the night before the match due to the early start time for FedEx Ball Kids arrival: June 13, 2021 – England v Croatia (), June 14, 2021 – Scotland v Czech Republic (Glasgow), , June 17 – Ukraine v North Macedonia (Bucharest), June 18, 2021– Sweden v Slovakia (Dublin),

UEFA EURO 2020 Final Availability

• Children selected as FedEx Ball Kids for UEFA EURO 2020 Group Stage matches at Stadium and Hampden Park, will be eligible to be nominated to be a FedEx Ball Kid at the UEFA EURO 2020 Final at , London, on Sunday July 11, 2021*. • The best performing FedEx Ball Kid from Group Stages matches at these two UK stadiums will be selected by a panel including FedEx and UEFA representatives. • The prize includes a complementary UEFA EURO 2020 Final ticket for the parent/guardian and accommodation. • Tick the box if you would like your child to be considered for selection for the Final. • Tick the box to confirm that, if selected, the child and an accompanying adult will be available to travel to London on Sunday July 11, 2021.

*Full prize details for FedEx Ball Kids selected for the UEFA EURO 2020 Final will be shared with the parent/guardian at the end of the Group Stages.

Parent/guardian attending:

o Will arrive at the meeting point at the time stated in the winner communications. o Will travel to and from the stadium in the FedEx Ball Kids transportation provided.
