It is mandatory for teachers registered with the RAD, including teachers recognized by mutual agreement and active Life Members, to take part in a minimum number of CPD activities each year in order to retain Registered Teacher Status.

Changes for 2020/21 In-Person Exams

Music in Examinations Candidate Numbers
Music options for both AEC and RAV exams are as follows: Numbers must be worn by all candidates on the front and back of their uniform. AEC studios are responsible for providing their own numbers. In an RAV, the AEC: numbers will be pre-allocated and provided on arrival.

Teachers should inform the Examiner of any absent candidates in an AEC. The RAD offers a Result Enquiry service, for which a fee is payable. Character
