Die traditionellen Trainingsformen (vgl. einseitig) halten viele potentielle Nachwuchsegler von einem Engagement im Segel / Regattasegelsport ab. Auch viele Segelvereine in Österreich haben das Problem zu weniger Kinder / Jugendlicher für ihre Nachwuchsarbeit.
