LSU Agcenter Livestock Show Catalog LSU AgCenter Livestock Show Catalog Lamar Dixon Expo Center Gonzales, LA February 8-15, 2020 1 The LSU AgCenter is. a statewide campus of the LSU system, providing individuals and families, local governments and industry with the research and information they need to improve the economic conditions and quality of life for Louisiana citizens. Louisiana’s food and forest products production and processing industries contribute billions of dollars to the state’s economy every year, and much of that production is enhanced by research and education programs provided by the LSU AgCenter. Louisiana’s families enjoy a safe and affordable food supply, health and nutrition information and education, and a quality 4-H youth program through the work of the LSU AgCenter. DUNF forms, hogs ractopamine forms, feeder calf vaccination forms, and scrappies slips will still need to be completed and turned in at the respective species scale locations. The 840 ID tag number will be added at the scale upon arrival. 4. There will be no bedding for animals on the grounds. If you bring your own, you MUST clean up your area or pen before leaving.

Each exhibitor must consent and agree to abide by the IAFE National Code of Show Ring Ethics, as printed. All animals will be subject to examination by the judge and/or superintendent for any violations of the code of ethics. C. Exhibitors are expected to obey the official promptly in producing their stock when instructed to do so. Stock must be in the ring promptly after the class is called, and it will be taken for granted that any person failing to comply with this rule is not a competitor for the premiums offered.

Tom has been the gates supervisor for the last 13 years, where he has been instrumental in helping to find innovative ways to keep the gates flowing as well as stop the counterfeiting of tickets. Tom enjoyed the comradery of the gate volunteers as well as the occasional confrontational problem solving. In Tom’s last year as gates supervisor we implemented sponsored hand stamps and Tom did everything he could to make the transition run as smooth as possible. Even getting fair board members to volunteer to run a gate or two a day to keep things running. Tom is married to Karen, of 47 years and they have 2 sons and 1 daughter with 5 grandchildren.
