Opis: S parkirišča ob avtokampu krenemo navzgor v vas (voda) in sledimo markacijam, ki nas mimo cerkve sv. Tomaža usmerijo levo navzgor na kolovoz, ki se skozi gozd zmerno dviga proti severozahodu. Ko markirana pot zavije desno strmo navzgor, nadaljujemo naravnost in skoraj vodoravno do hudourniške grape. Tukaj zavijemo desno in po 30 metrih zavijemo levo na manj uporabljano pot, ki se strmo vzpne skozi borov gozd do čistine pod vasjo Prebeneg. Hojo nadaljujemo naravnost navzgor po stezi, tik ob meji na zgornji kolovoz, prečkamo asfaltno cesto in prispemo v vas Socerb. Dvignemo se (mimo vaške kapelice in kala) na skalni rob do gradu, kjer se odpre imeniten razgled na Trst in velik del Istre. Grad z gostiščem je vsekakor vreden ogleda, mi pa se sprehodimo po asfaltni cesti, ki pelje od vasi do gradu, še do bližnje Svete jame s podzemno cerkvijo, edino v Sloveniji, in naprej po cesti na rob obsežne kraške planote. Lesen kažipot nas usmeri levo (prečkamo žico in sledimo markacijam) proti jugovzhodu po skalnem robu skoraj do ceste Koper–Kozina. Spustimo se pod skalnat rob, nato pa se povzpnemo na razgleden skalnat vršič Varda, ki ga prečimo proti jugu ali pa ga obidemo po stezi v gozdu na desni strani. Ko srečamo kolovoz, ki prihaja iz smeri Kastelca, zavijemo levo navzgor, prečkamo cesto v podvozu in v rahlem vzponu prispemo nad kamnolom Črnotiče. Nadaljujemo pot skozi lep borov gozd, ki nas pripelje do ceste za Podgorje. Nato se pot spusti na nižje ležečo planoto in nadaljuje po makadamu na rob stene nad vasjo Črni Kal. Od tu se lahko odločimo, da se mimo vodnega zbiralnika vzpnemo levo navzgor po robu stene do razvalin starega gradu iz 11. stoletja, ki čepi na skalnem stolpu, odmaknjenem od glavne stene. Lahko pa pot nadaljujemo naravnost pod plezalno steno do zgornjega Črnega Kala. Tu si lahko ogledamo leta 1489 zgrajeno Benkovo hišo, najstarejši primerek podeželske hiše na Slovenskem, in nagnjen zemljevid zvonik ob cerkvi sv. Valentina. Nato se spustimo še v spodnji Črni Kal in pot nadaljujemo po cesti mimo spomenika Prekomorskim brigadam levo in nato desno pod mogočni avtocestni viadukt, proti stari Gabrovici, ki je bila požgana maja 1944. Sledimo poti zložno navzdol po kolovozu mimo udornice Mišja peč, ki skupaj z bližnjo Osapsko steno spada med najbolj znana evropska plezališča. Še kratek sprehod po dnu doline, in že smo na izhodišču v Ospu, eni najstarejših slovenskih vasi. Tukaj nas pot do izhodišča vodi do odcepa, kjer se lahko povzpnemo še pod Veliko steno, ki skriva vhod v jamo Grad in izvir Osapske reke.
