Our strategic business plan calls for building eight schools over the next ten years. Over the Holidays we also completed a $250,000 charter school start-up grant from the Walton Family Foundation. As we start the new year, I also want to remind you why ECHS exists. ECHS is a team of very passionate people behind three key causes: we empower youth to go to college, transform them into environmentally conscious citizens, and Environmental help them become leaders and change agents who enact positive changes in Charter High School their community.     CHINO HILLS HS 2013 SUMMER CAMPS Athletes are encouraged to participate and play multiple sports. Dear Freshman Parents, Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year. I hope this year will be an exciting one for you and your freshman Husky. I strongly urge you to get involved in as many activities as you can, so that you can experience all that CHHS has to offer. We encourage our students to play as many sports as they can. Our coaches work very hard to resolve any schedule conflicts that may arise. Attached you will find a list of sports camps that we will be offering throughout the summer. If your child wishes to participate in any of these camps, they can be paid for through the student store. This will be open on Saturday, April 20 during our 8th grade orientation and again the week immediately following 8th grade graduation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Athletics office at (909) 606-7540 ext 5465. Paperwork Before your son or daughter may practice, they must turn in a completed athletic packet. This packet includes their physical, insurance, and other important information. After 4 years, construction of the permanent facilities was complete. Since then, we keep expanding to almost 2900 students and 173 staff members. Over 90% of our students are from Chino Hills, with about 7% from Chino, and the rest from Ontario. The student body reflects the relative ethnic and economic diversity of those ---- ---- communities. Our attendance area covers the southern portions of the 3 cities, from the hills to the Chino Valley Unified School agriculture preserve, and includes the last open land in this rapidly developing area.
