Weekly highlights ITV Racing: Live from Goodwood Saturday, 1.30pm 29th August ITV Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani present all the live action from Goodwood race course on another Saturday of exciting racing with coverage from three venues. The feature race of the day is the Celebration Mile at Goodwood, which has been won by some top-class horses in recent years and is bound to be another strong renewal in 2020. There’s also action from Newmarket and Windsor in the afternoon. The Masked Singer US Saturday, 4pm & 5pm 29th August ITV Surreal musical antics from season two of the US version of The Masked Singer, featuring a roster of famous competitors in outlandish disguises singing for glory. Nick Cannon presents as the three remaining contestants give it their all in the final As ever, judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger try to guess the performers’ identities, as well as crowning the overall winner of the show. Weekly highlights Rolling In It Saturday, 6.15pm 29th August ITV Stephen Mulhern presents a gameshow in which members of the public try to win big cash prizes against celebrities on one of the biggest arcade games in the world. The Voice Kids Saturday, 7.20pm 29th August ITV The junior version of The Voice comes to a conclusion as the youngsters do whatever they can to impress the panel of music industry celebrities one last time. It’s the Grand Final. Paloma Faith, Danny Jones, Pixie Lott and will.i.am have their finalists, but only one can be named The Voice Kids Champion 2020. Love Your English Country Garden Tuesday, 8.00pm 1st September ITV The first part in a series of Love Your Garden specials in which Alan reveals the secrets to his favourite garden designs, and the twists that his team put on them. Alan explores the history of the English country garden on the show, looking back at three different episodes which rewarded three deserving people with a classic country garden, a garden with a unique cottage twist and an enchanted secret garden in turn. Weekly highlights Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum Tuesday, 9pm 1st September ITV Actress and singer Sheridan Smith and her partner Jamie reveal the intimate story of her pregnancy and mental health struggles in this one-off documentary. The documentary follows Sheridan as she attends her first scans, pre-natal classes and meets a psychiatrist who specialises in mental health during and after pregnancy. All the while, she and Jamie discuss their excitement at what’s to come. Coronation Street Icons: Roy Cropper Wednesday, 8.30pm 2nd September ITV The series narrated by Sally Lindsay continues, focussing on Coronation Street’s most legendary characters and revisiting their greatest moments from the archives. Roy Cropper has become one of the best loved characters on TV. David Neilson, the actor who plays him, reveals how he helped shape Roy’s eccentricities, and his on- screen wife Julie Hesmondhalgh shares the story of Roy and Hayley’s relationship. He explores Merthyr Mawr on horseback, and discovers how our sea cliffs breathe in and out with the waves.
