After a very short period of time Campbell was elected to the position of Vice President in 2005. This is a position he held until Sept 2009, where following the AGM he was elected the President of the Broome Sub Branch. Campbell took on many responsibilities including being the RSL representative of the Pilbara/Kimberley Region. He held this position in high esteem, as he was very passionate about looking after the wellbeing of its members. He was also the Sub Branch Pensions and Welfare Officer. Perhaps one of his greatest passions was starting a Museum at the Sub Branch. This is now a wonderful exhibit at the Sub Branch with many people admiring his works. He will be greatly missed by all in the Kimberleys. Sudoku is included in this and future editions of ‘The Listening Post’. Look upond this quiz as stopping the onward march of Alzheimers Disease! Sudoku is a logic-based, combinatorial number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 boxes (also called blocks or regions) contains the digits from 1 to 9 only one time each. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid. Provided by Sudoko.com.au

Dear Denis, Thank you once more for your efforts regarding the Boer War Memorial Committee publicity. The exercise will get up a real head of steam once the design submission has been OK’d by the Canberra Design Committee in the mean time we can only try to map out what Memorials are already in the country and where the descendants are located to assist with fund raising once we have an official design and can commence the marketing. So, obviously there will be more to come but not much before March 2010 I suspect. Thank you in the meantime. Regards, Finding the ‘Emden’ Dr Rod Bain.
