Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi HON'ble UNION MINISTER for MINORITY Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi HON’BLE UNION MINISTER FOR MINORITY AFFAIRS, GOVT. OF INDIA ABOUT Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is presently a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and a Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Government of India. Born and brought up in a respectful family of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi started his life right from his childhood with hard work, determination and commitment to the principles and social values. He was attracted in his early age towards “Total Revolution Campaign” launched by Shri Jaiparkash Narayan and was elected Secretary, “Chatra Yuva Sangarsh Vahini” and also played major roles in various agitations. During Emergency, he was arrested under D.I.R. – Misa at the tender age of 17 and was put behind bars in Central Jail, Naini. He established his competence and efficiency while working on various important Government and Political assignments due to his commitment and dedication towards social, nationalist values and ideology. He continued to maintain his identity of being an ordinary social worker and dedicated soldier in safeguarding the human values. He is recognized as a positive approach leader, nationalist speaker, statesman and protector of human values at large. By virtue of the prerogative the monarch is the source and fountain of justice, and all jurisdiction is derived from her1. Hence, in legal contemplation, the Sovereign's Majesty is deemed always to be present in court2 and, by the terms of the coronation oath and by the maxims of the common law, as also by the ancient charters and statutes confirming the liberties of the subject, the monarch is bound to cause law and justice in mercy to be administered in all judgments3.     Press Information Bureau Government of India ***** Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar chairs the 65th Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) Education is a national agenda which empowers the individual, family, society and the nation – Shri Prakash Javadekar The 65th Meeting of the Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) was held under the Chairmanship of Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar here today. A number of decisions were taken at the meeting, in part flowing from the agenda, and in part stemming from concerns raised by the State Governments. The following resolutions were adopted:- i. It would be our endeavour to launch „Operation Digital Board‟ in all schools in five years. This will be undertaken jointly by Centre, State, CSR, and community. This will improve the quality of education. Students will be empowered with 360 degree information with interesting learning experience and teacher accountability will also increase. ii. We are committed to ensure Quality, Equity, Accessibility, Accountability and Affordability in education by pro-active action and plan. iii. We are commited to promote Swacch Bharat, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, Padhe Bharat, Sugamya Bharat and physical education. iv. We resolve to promote human value education, life skill education, experiential learning to bring out good human beings out of the education system. In this essay, Mujibur Rehman analyses the reasons behind the shrinking of secular space and its implications for India’s politics and public discourse, the restructuring of the relationship between Indian Muslims and Hindutva ideology, and the manner in which Indian Muslims have responded to Ayodhya. December 6, 1992 was the darkest day in the history of modern India. On this day, the Babri Masjid was demolished by kar sevaks of the Ayodhya movement led by various Hindu right-wing organisations such as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Shiv Sena (SS), Bajrang Dal and others. The Hindu right-wing organisations would like to challenge such a formulation. On December 15 of the same year, the Narasimha Rao government that was running New Delhi dismissed the three BJP-run State governments of Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan by invoking Art 356. The demolition was seen as a pre-meditated one by most scholars and political commentators. The Congress leader, M. L. Fotedar, in his recent book titled, The Chinar Leaves: A Political Memoir (2015), has given a detailed description in a chapter titled, the Demolition of Babri Masjid (Fotedar 2015: 270-280) 1 . Fotedar considers Narasimha Rao “culpable” together with the RSS and its allied organisations.
