Baojun 530 Platform Baojun 530 platform Continue The Chinese twin MG Hector, Baojun 530, will have three seating options, i.e., 5-seater, 6-seater and 7-seater. Hector is offered as a 5-seater midsize SUV in India. The Facelifted Baojun 530 is the same platform-based as Hector with the only difference being that the Baojun 530 is 40mm longer. The 7-seater MG Hector is expected to be launched in India by 2020. Both MG and Baojun are owned by the same company that is SAIC Motor. The Hector SUV was launched in India in June 2019, it was the first MG car to be launched in the country. The car has received impressive reviews and huge demand. Hector's Chinese brother, the Baojun 530, sells a 7-seat model car in China. The Baojun 530 facelift also comes in a six-seater model along with captain seats for the mid-row and third row bench, and that may be offered in India by 2020. With this facelift, the manufacturer has brought a new kind of layout for the car, which includes four separate captain seats for the first two rows and one seat on the bench for the third row. The Baojun 530 facelift is actually 40mm longer and 10mm lower than the MG Hector SUV in India. Some of its upgrades include a new front grille, new projector headlights, and an updated bumper design at the front and back. The side profile is basically the same, but with a new set of alloy wheels that have helped boost the sporty look of the car. Inside the car, it has a new vertically stacked 10.4- infotainer system. Another new feature is a fully digital cluster of tools. Outside, the SUV is bigger and has a sporty look. Some other features of the new model include heated mirrors, digital dials, parking sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system. The car's dimensions are long, wide and 4,695 mm, 1835 mm and 1750 mm respectively. The SUV's wheelbase is 2,750 mm long. The 2.0-liter diesel engine, although it should be upgraded soon in violation of BS6 emissions standards, will be offered soon. It produces 170PS and 350Nm, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It will have two transmission options that are 6-speed mechanical and CVT automatic. The 5 and 7-seater versions are currently sold in some selected Asian markets. And now we'll see how the MG will bring a 6-seater version of the 530 Suv car with a 7-seater layout to the Indian market. It can compete with the 7-seater Tata Harrier and Toyota Innova Crysta. The current price of MG Hector is between Rs 12.18 lakh and Rs 16.88 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India) and competes Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, Renault Captur, and Nissan Kicks. You can expect new new version with a lot of seats to be rated more than the current models. MG Motor India has already sold more than 3,500 Hector units and also has a backlog of 28,000 vehicles. MG has stopped booking the car right now and will reopen them next month. The brand's production line is located in Halola, Gujarat state. The car has a code called CN210S. The real name will be presented when the SUV debuts in December at the Guangzhou Motor Show. The CN210S is the largest Baojun so far. It will be located above the Baojun 530. The power will come from 1.5 turbos with about 160 horses in the pairing with a seven-speed DCT. The price will start at about 120,000 yuan. Very beautiful taillights! Baojun says the CN210S is based on a brand new platform that will also spawn MPV. This would be a first for Baojun, which has so far used discarded GM and Wuling platforms. Baojun is a brand under the joint venture SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW). in which GM has a 43% stake. Other partners are SAIC (aka Shanghai Auto) and Wuling Automotive. SAIC and GM are also linked in a giant Shanghai-GM joint venture that produces Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac cars for the Chinese market. So what do you think? Is this a great new toilet upgrade! First live shot. The light looks very strange here, the grille is really gigantic.
