Regular events Badminton The badminton leagues are run on a monthly basis by the club with assistance from the SU President. All the leagues are tiered so it is easy to find a level to suit you. Futsal Futsal is a 5-a-side football league that runs weekly. Please refer to the Futsal promotional flyer for further information. All teams must enter by Thursday in week 1 in both Semester 1 and Semester 2. Halls The SU work with the Halls Development Officer to identify and provide sport and activity opportunities on campus for Halls of Residence Students. Please refer to the Halls of Residence Activity sheet for further information. Tennis The tennis programme runs throughout the academic year (weather dependent). A qualified coach is present at every session to cater for all abilities. Whether you want to come a play a leisurely game or receive coaching to help improve you game you will be warmly greeted. Training takes place on the outdoor Tennis courts on a Wednesday afternoon from 1.30-4.30pm and on a Saturday from 12.15pm- 2.15pm. For further information please see the Tennis flyer. Squash A weekly squash ladder is run by the clubs Professional Coach. All standards and abilities are welcome. You are responsible for organising matches, so it is up to you how much you play. Racketball 3’s Racketball is similar to squash but played with a larger ball and a shorter racket. 3’s is played in teams of 3, with players rotating to face each opponent and contributing to an overall score. A ladder system will run with sessions on Sundays throughout Semesters 1 and 2.

One Day events
Football 7s Teams consist of a maximum of 10 players. This event will take place towards the end of semester 2
Touch Rugby The annual touch rugby tournament takes place towards the end of semester 2. Teams consist of a maximum of 10 players (which must include a minimum of three females).
Ultimate Teams consist of a maximum of 8 players. You will initially be entered Frisbee in a league, competing against other teams in 15 minute matches.
