Smart Bus Routes: There are several new Smart Bus routes that may be of interest to parents

SmartBus Route 901 - Melbourne Airport to Frankston. For families living in the Epping, South Morang, Mill Park, Plenty & Greensborough area, this bus route operates along McDonalds Rd, Gorge Rd, Kurrak Rd, Yan Yean Rd, Diamond Creek Rd and Para Rd to Greensborough Railway Station. From there, students can catch the train to Heidelberg Railway station.

Smart Bus 903 – Altona to Mordialloc via Coburg, Preston, Northland, Doncaster, Box Hill. Mordialloc to Altona via Doncaster Shoppingtown, Williamsons Rd, Manningham Rd, Banksia St, Lower Heidelberg Rd, Burgundy St and Mount St to Heidelberg Station.

Students travelling from The Pines in the morning can use SmartBus 905, get off at the corner of Thompson’s and Manningham roads in Bulleen and catch SmartBus 903 to Heidelberg and OLMC. In the afternoon students can catch the bus Transdev operate for OLMC students only. Transdev do not operate an equivalent morning service for this route. Normal myki fares apply to these buses.

Bus 1 departs OLMC at 3.35 from Yarra Street and operates via route no.9035 to Doncaster Shoppingtown, arriving there at approximately 3.55 pm. This bus stops as required, at all Ventura / National bus stops.

Bus 2 departs the school at 3.35 pm from Yarra Street and operates via route no 9036 to the Pines Shopping Centre, arriving there at approximately 4.05 pm. This bus turns left into High Street, then right into Lynnwood Parade. It continues along King Street, then left into Blackburn Road to The Pines. This bus stops as required, at all Ventura / National bus stops

Other SmartBus routes include Route 906 City to Warrandyte via the Pines Shopping Centre; Route 907 City to Mitcham via Doncaster Rd; Route 908 City to The Pines SC via Doncaster Park & Ride;

In 2014 Dysons Bus Services operate 2 private buses for OLMC students only. All enquiries regarding seat availability on the Dysons private buses should be directed to Gordana Metelovski at Dyson’s as soon as possible.

 The cost in 2014 for Years 7-11 is $1,210 for a yearly pass.  The cost in 2014 for students in Years 11-12 is $1120 for a yearly pass.
